Calgary Flames prospect Hunter Smith and the Oshawa Generals are the 2015 Mastercard Memorial Cup Champions after edging the Kelowna Rockets 2-1 in overtime.
Anthony Cirelli scored twice for Oshawa, potting the equalizer at 13:50 of the second period and then netting the game-winner at 1:28 in extra time. Tomas Soustal scored Kelowna's lone goal.
Smith had one goal at the tournament. He finished off the regular season with 23 goals and 49 points in 57 games. In the postseason, the 19-year-old registered nine goals and 18 points in 21 outings.
The Flames selected Smith in the second round (54th overall) of the 2014 NHL Draft.
