Scotiabank Saddledome participating in Doors Open YYC

CALGARY, AB -- The Scotiabank Saddledome* has been named one of the participants of Doors Open YYC - Do YYC Naked, a city-wide event running on Sept. 29 and 30 from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM each day.

Have you ever wondered how long it takes to convert the arena floor from hockey to a concert? Want to go behind the scenes to see where international artists and entertainers prepare for their event? Visitors will be able to view the interior seating bowl of the Saddledome and see inside two of the dressing rooms used by artists during the shows. Visitors will also be able to stop by the Olympia Room and learn how the Olympia ice-resurfacing machine works.

Hosts will be on hand to answer any questions regarding the building.

Doors Open is a well-established and highly successful international concept that allows people free access to buildings and spaces in order to build civic pride, create enthusiam for heritage and contemporary architecture, and increase the appreciation of historical and culturally-significant places and spaces.
