Corb Lund performs the song "Blood Sweat & Water" which he wrote and dedicated to Southern Alberta flood victims. A really touching video montage acoompanies the song. We will post the video later.

Canucks goal - David Booth redirects a point shot from Jason Garrison between the pads of MacDonald and the Canucks take an early lead. | CGY 0 VAN 1 |

7:00 - The Flames hold the edge in shots 11-9. Some solid play in the offensive zone so far by Calgary. | CGY 0 VAN 1 |

5:28 - Flames GOAL! - Mark Giordano with an absolute laser of a wrist shot, beats Lack high on the glove side. Jones with the helper to draw the Flames even! CGY 1 VAN 1 |

SECOND PERIOD

4:48 - An unbeleivable shift by the Flames. They had the Canucks hemmed the entire time and it's a miracle that they didn't score. The shots are now 24-14 in favor of Calgary. | CGY 2 VAN 1 |

THIRD PERIOD

18:23 - Flames GOAL! - Sean Monahan shows great patience and buries his second of the season with a quick wrist shot between Lack's pads! Stempniak draws an assist.  | CGY 3 VAN 1 |



14:59 - Canucks goal - Jannik Hansen buries a pass from Daniel Sedin in the slot to cut the Flames lead to one.  | CGY 3 VAN 2 |

10:29 - Canucks goal - Santorelli takes a pass and beats MacDonald to draw the Canucks even.  | CGY 3 VAN 3 |

7:43 - Joey MacDonald with a ridiculous diving stick save on Chris Higgins which was a sure goal for the Canucks.  | CGY 3 VAN 3 |
