Heat announce pre-season game, season series vs. Utica Comets

ABBOTSFORD, BC -- The Abbotsford Heat announced today a pre-season game against the Utica Comets (AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks). The game will be held Sunday, September 22nd at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre (AESC), with puck drop at 7 PM PT. Proceeds from the 50/50 and Chuck a Puck programs for this pre-season game will be donated to Canuck Place Abbotsford. Single game tickets start at $14.50 and are available immediately by calling 1-877-452-HEAT (4328).

The Heat also announced that Utica will play six regular season games in Abbotsford this year, compared to the four games the Chicago Wolves (former AHL affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, current AHL affiliate of the St. Louis Blues) played at the AESC in 2012-13.

Fans are encouraged to purchase the Comets flex package, including six tickets to be used for Utica visits to the AESC in any combination. The Comets package starts at $81, call 1-877-452-HEAT (4328) to purchase yours today. For fans purchasing a Comets package by September 22nd, the Heat will include a free ticket to the September 22nd preseason game against the Comets for each package purchased.

The complete American Hockey League schedule will be released later this summer, including opponents, game dates, start times, and Heat game promotions.
