Flames sign Corey Potter

CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed defenceman Corey Potter to a one year, two-way contract.

Potter, a native of Lansing, Michigan, split time last season between Boston and Edmonton, totaling 19 games with five assists and 21 penalty minutes. He also played six games for the Oklahoma City Barons, the Edmonton AHL affiliate. He has 123 career NHL games netting eight goals and 24 assists for 32 points and 53 penalty minutes.
