Flames & Scotiabank Saddledome play host to CWHL action on Friday

CALGARY, AB -- Join the Calgary Flames, Scotiabank and the Canadian Women’s Hockey League for an exciting hockey night out to watch Team Alberta face off against the Boston Blades at the Scotiabank Saddledome on Friday, February 1st, 2013. Admission is FREE. Doors open at 6 p.m. with puck drop at 7 p.m.

Team Alberta and the Boston Blades feature players from both Canada and US National teams including Team Alberta’s Meaghan Mikkelson and Bobbi-Jo Slusar and from the Boston Blades, U.S. National Team members Caitlin Cahow, Molly Schaus and Hillary Knight. While the Flames and the Scotiabank Saddledome will be bringing all elements from their NHL game night entertainment package to attendees. In November, the Calgary Flames announced a partnership as major supporters of the CWHL and Team Alberta.

Fans are invited to bring their minor hockey team in their jerseys for a chance to win a practice with Team Alberta players at the Scotiabank Saddledome and a tour of the Flames dressing room. The Calgary Flames will also be offering a discounted food and beverage package with a regular pop, hot dog and popcorn for $5.00.

Parking is free in Lot A and in the parkade on the Northeast side of the Scotiabank Saddledome. You can still reserve your free tickets through Calgary Flames Customer Service at 403-777-4646. Patrons are requested to enter through the Northeast Avison Young Club entrance.
