Season series: The Anaheim Ducks are 3-0-1 against the Calgary Flames and have won 6-3 in each of the past two games. Anaheim forward Kyle Palmieri has four goals, and forward Corey Perry has four points. Calgary defenceman Dennis Wideman has two goals and two assists.

Ducks team scope: Anaheim will try to win its first ending a three-game road trip. "Every game is going to be a one-goal, playoff-style game," forward Nate Thompson told the Ducks website after a 2-1 loss to the Vancouver Canucks on Monday. "There won't be a lot of room out there. That's how it's going to be down the stretch and in [the Stanley Cup Playoffs]. These are the games we want to play in." Defenceman James Wisniewski, who was acquired from the Columbus Blue Jackets before the NHL Trade Deadline, made his season debut. He skated 22:05 and was a minus-1. "I thought he was good," Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau said, according to the Orange County Register. "I'll have to look at that last play again. Other than that, I thought he made some good reads, some really good outlet passes. For his first game, I thought he was doing OK." We're trying to get in like everybody else." Defenceman Kris Russell and forwards Josh Jooris and Drew Shore did not skate Tuesday; Russell and Jooris are expected to be in the lineup, but Flames coach Bob Hartley said he doubts Shore will play.
