Brett Carson teams up with Dairy Queen to serve miracles

CALGARY, AB – Calgary Flames defenceman Brett Carson will be trading his jersey for a serving apron today, August 11th, for Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day.


Today all proceeds from every Dairy Queen blizzard sold will be directed to the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Time: 6 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Last year on Miracle Treat Day, participating Dairy Queen locations throughout Canada raised more than $2.2 million for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals in local communities. The Dairy Queen system is one of the top 10 contributors to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals having raised more than $86 million since 1984.

The Calgary Flames and Flames Foundation for Life support the Alberta Children’s Hospital through various charitable initiatives and player programs including the annual wheelchair hockey game versus the Townsend Tigers and a holiday visits each season.
