THE DIRT: Columbus' defensive corps will be immediately improved with the addition of Murray as he looks NHL-ready.

Montreal Canadiens
Alex Galchenyuk, C, Sarnia (OHL)
THE DIRT: Extremely skilled, excellent vision and works hard at both ends of the ice - will be an impact player for years.

New York Islanders
Filip Forsberg, RW, Leksand (SWE)
THE DIRT: The top-ranked European skater can do it all. He has the potential to a be a top line player in the NHL.

THE DIRT: Possessing elite stick-handing skills and vision, the pivot can control the pace of an entire game.

Anaheim Ducks
Morgan Rielly, D, Moose Jaw (WHL)
THE DIRT: Often compared to Erik Karlsson, the blueliner's offensive prowess makes him a game-changer.

7 Minnesota Wild Teuvo Teravainen, LW, Jokerit (FIN)
THE DIRT: The Wild need to bolster their offence and Teravainen's high-end skill and creativity will do just that.

Carolina Hurricanes
Matt Dumba, D, Red Deer (WHL)
THE DIRT: Hard-hitting and boosting a great shot, Dumba will give the Canes plenty of offence from the blueline.

9 Winnipeg Jets Jacob Trouba, D, USA U-18 (USHL)
THE DIRT: A strong, all-around defenceman. He has a very strong two-way game and plays well in his own end.

10 Tampa Bay Lightning Radek Faksa, C, Kitchener (OHL)
THE DIRT: A prototypical power forward, Faksa has a nose for the net and a large frame that intimidates opponents.

Griffin Reinhart, D, Edmonton (WHL)
THE DIRT: The defenceman has size (6-foot-4, 205 lbs.) and has a ton of offensive upside that the Caps will love.

Buffalo Sabres
Cody Ceci, D, Ottawa (OHL)
THE DIRT: Ceci's cannon of a shot and his vision will give any blueline an offensive boost.

Dallas Stars
Derek Pouliot, D, Portland (WHL)
THE DIRT: A smooth skating offensive blueliner who has great poise. His passing could be called elite for his age group.

Calgary Flames
Olli Maatta, D, London (OHL)
THE DIRT: A two-way d-man with excellent positioning, offensive upside and plays very well under pressure. Also has great vision.

Ottawa Senators
Brendan Gaunce, C, Belleville (OHL)
THE DIRT: An intelligent power forward who is a natural leader. Gaunce makes good decisions with or without the puck.

Washington Capitals
Sebastian Collberg, RW, Frolunda (SWE)
THE DIRT: With their second pick in the first round, the Caps will look to add some more top-end offensive talent to their prospect pool.

San Jose Sharks
Matthew Finn, D, Guelph (OHL)
THE DIRT: Finn is a do-everything type of player with leadership skills. His two-way play is extremely solid.

Chicago Blackhawks
Zemgus Girgensons, C, Dubuque (USHL)
THE DIRT: The Lativian forward has incredible speed and strength. He played a ton of minutes at the World Juniors.

19 Tampa Bay Lightning (via DET) Hampus Lindholm, D, Rogle (SWE)
THE DIRT: This strong-skating, puck-moving blueliner has an excellent work ethic and is extremely tenacious.

Philadephia Flyers
Malcom Subban, G, Belleville (OHL)
THE DIRT: Philly desperately needs some security in net and Subban could become a franchise goaltender.

Buffalo Sabres (via NSH)
Pontus Aberg, LW, Djurgarden (SWE)
THE DIRT: Described as a speedy sniper, Aberg has an excellent shot that is very accurate.

Pittsburgh Penguins
Tomas Hertl, C, Slavia (CZE)
THE DIRT: A playmaker with good size, Hertl will bolster Pittsburgh offensive prospect pool.

Florida Panthers
Ludvig Bystrom, D, Modo (SWE)
THE DIRT: A smooth-skater with the ability to move the puck. He's also extremely poised and never over-extends himself.

Boston Bruins
Andrei Vasilevski, G, Ufa Tolpar (RUS-JR)
THE DIRT: Vasilevski has good instincts, reads plays very well and his positioning has scouts raving.

25 St. Louis Blues Brady Skjei, D, USA U-18 (USHL)
THE DIRT: This rearguard has great hands and would be a nice addition to St. Louis' defensive corps.

Vancouver Canucks
Colton Sissons, C, Kelowna (WHL)
THE DIRT: A gritty forward that is willing to go into the hard areas, Sissons can play in all situations.

Phoenix Coyotes
Stefan Matteau, C, USA U-18 (USHL)
THE DIRT: He can take the puck hard to the net and loves to battle for rebounds. Matteau plays with grit and determination.

28 New York Rangers Slater Koekkoek, D, Peterborough (OHL)
THE DIRT: Koekkoek has progressed greatly over the last few years but fell behind this year with a shoulder injury.

29 New Jersey Devils Martin Frk, RW, Halifax (QMJHL)
THE DIRT: In Frk, the Devils will get a forward with one of the best releases in the 2012 draft class with high-end puck skills.

30 Los Angeles Kings Thomas Wilson, RW, Plymouth (OHL)
THE DIRT: An aggressive power forward who has made great strides in his development over the last couple of years.
