To verify your registered email, log in to NHL.com. Sign in to NHL.TV™ with the email address listed in the Profile section. Your password will remain the same.

In the main menu, press the "Y" button on your Xbox controller to open the Settings menu. In the Settings menu, select the "Log In" option at bottom and enter your account credentials. Press the "Log In" button and "OK" once you have successfully signed in. You are now signed into your account and will be taken back to the NHL.TV™ main menu.

The main menu of the NHL.TV™ app consists of a series of tiles in sections. At left are "Calendar", "Standings" and "Videos" tiles. At right is the division standings leaderboard, which can be hidden by enabling the Hide Scores option in the Settings menu. In the middle of the main menu are scoreboard tiles for today's games. To select any menu item, press the "A" button on your Xbox controller. To go back at any time, press the "B" button. To return to your Xbox One home screen, press the Xbox "Home" button on your controller.

In the NHL.TV™ app for Xbox One, you can search for specific games to watch using a variety of methods. In the main menu, selecting the "Calendar" tile on the left for the first time will prompt you to "Select a favorite team to follow." Choose your favorite team and you will be taken to the monthly calendar view for that team. From now on, selecting the main menu Calendar tile will show all of your favorite team's games in the current calendar month. Using the Left Thumbstick or the D-pad, move through the calendar to select a game. At top left in this menu, the name of your favorite team will be displayed. To switch favorite teams or to display the monthly calendar of a different team's games, press "A" over the team name. Use the arrows at the top of the calendar to navigate to view the previous or next month's schedule.

You can also access a full calendar of all NHL® games by month from the main menu by pressing the "View" button on your controller. Then select a date to view all scheduled NHL® games for that day, or press "Y" to display a full list of today's games. To view full NHL® standings, select the "Standings" tile in the main menu at left. Pressing "Y" in this menu will sort standings by Wild Card place instead of by division.

Pressing the "Y" button on your controller while in the main menu will open the NHL.TV™ Settings menu. If you are not logged into a registered NHL.TV™ account with an active subscription, the menu item at the top of the settings menu will be "How to purchase NHL.TV™." Click this to view subscription purchasing information or select the "Log In" button on this screen to sign into your account. When logged in, you can choose to change your favorite team, show or hide scores, and join games live or from the beginning from the Settings menu. You can also learn about the NHL.TV™ app and Log In and Out of your account. In the Favorite Teams menu item, you can add, remove or adjust the order of your favorite teams, and changes will be synced across your account.

To launch a game in NHL.TV™, navigate to a date and select the matchup that you would like to watch. After selecting a game, detailed matchup information is displayed at top, and available game feeds and highlights clips appear below. Use the Left Thumbstick or D-Pad on your controller to navigate between game feed and highlight clip options; press "A" over the selected option to launch that video.

While viewing a video, pressing the "A" button on your controller will display DVR video playback options. The game time indicator or scrubbing bar will indicate your current position in the video broadcast. At bottom, selecting the rewind, play/pause and fast forward buttons will control video playback. Pressing the "LT" or "RT" triggers on your controller will rewind or fast-forward the broadcast as well. To enable Closed Captioning, when available, open the DVR playback menu by pressing "A" while watching a video and press "A" again over the "CC" icon. When Closed Captioning is activated, a small "On" icon will appear to the immediate lower right of the CC icon in the DVR controls.
