All guests are encouraged to arrive and enter the PROLINE+ NHL® PreGame and Tim Hortons Field early to help alleviate long security screening lines. Unlike regular season Tiger Cats games at Tim Hortons Field, all fans attending the 2022 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic will undergo security screening via walkthrough metal detectors. Please note that entry into the PROLINE+ NHL® PreGame requires a 2022 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ ticket.

Proline+ NHL® PreGame

PROLINE+ NHL® PreGame

Hockey fans are invited to join the National Hockey League® (NHL®) and its corporate partners at the PROLINE+ NHL® PreGame, the official fan festival of the 2022 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™. This hockey festival will be open only to ticketed guests on Sunday, March 13th from 12:00PM - End of 2nd Intermission in the South Plaza and on Cannon Street at Tim Hortons Field. The PreGame will offer fans of all ages, family-friendly hockey interactive games and attractions, special appearances and the opportunity to take a photo with the Stanley Cup®. Only fans with tickets to the 2022 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ will be able to access the festivities. NHL® Fan Code of Conduct

The NHL® and its Member Clubs are committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment and enjoyable entertainment experience. NHL® fans have a right to expect an environment in which they will be treated in a consistent, professional and courteous manner by all Tim Hortons Field, team, and NHL® personnel, as well as by other fans. The same right extends to all NHL® players and officials. Accordingly, fans are responsible for their own conduct. The following standards have been established with respect to fan conduct:

  • Fans are entitled to enjoy a hockey experience free from disruptive or inconsiderate behaviors or unruly actions.
  • Fans may not interfere with the event and/or athletes in any manner.
  • Fans shall refrain from using abusive, discriminatory or hateful language or obscene gestures.
  • Fans may not engage in fighting, throwing objects, or other behaviors deemed detrimental to the experience of other guests, and those who engage in any of these activities will immediately be ejected from Tim Hortons Field.
  • Fans are encouraged to report inappropriate behavior to Event Staff.
  • Fans who choose to consume alcohol must do so in a legal and responsible manner. Intervention by Event Staff with an intoxicated or impaired fan will be handled in a prompt and safe manner.
  • Fans shall comply with requests from Event Staff regarding venue operational and emergency procedures
  • Fans may not engage in unauthorized commercial activity while on Tim Hortons Field property.

Violation of the NHL® Fan Code of Conduct may result in eviction from Tim Hortons Field without a ticket refund. The NHL and its Member Clubs thank you for adhering to the provisions of the NHL® Fan Code of Conduct.

 

Health & Safety - Here's what you need to know about spectator health and safety before entering Tim Hortons Field:

  • Physical Distancing - Maintain at least 6 feet from fellow fans when not in your seat, where possible.
  • Clorox Hand Sanitizing Stations - Available throughout Tim Hortons Field for accessibility and ease of use.
  • Cleaning Measures - cleaning protocols have been adopted throughout Tim Hortons Field, including the use of Clorox disinfecting products.
  • The use of face coverings is still required when in any indoor location of Tim Hortons Field (e.g., concourses, elevators or restrooms) and is also strongly recommended when fans are seated, except when actively eating or drinking.

Accessibility

Reserved seating areas for patrons utilizing a wheelchair, scooter, or for those with mobility limitations are located throughout Tim Hortons Field.

 

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol policies are listed below:

  • All fans purchasing alcohol must be at least 19 years of age and present a valid ID.
  • No alcohol will be sold to fans who appear intoxicated.
  • There will be a limit of two (2) alcoholic beverages per transaction.
  • Management reserves the right to suspend alcohol sales at its discretion.
  • Fans who do not have proof of being at least 19 years of age may be ejected for possessing alcohol.
  • Fans passing alcohol to minors will be ejected and subject to arrest.
  • We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any fan.
  • Outside alcoholic beverages may not be brought beyond the security screening. Any attempt to bring outside alcoholic beverages into PROLINE+ NHL® PreGame or Tim Hortons Field will be considered a violation of the NHL® Fan Code of Conduct and may result in the fan being ejected, arrested and/or tickets being revoked.
  • All alcohol sales will be discontinued at the beginning of the third period.

 

Bag Policy and Medical Device Bags

Bags of any kind larger than 14″ x 14″ x 6″are prohibited. Please note there is no on-site check-in or storage.

Guests with medical issues that require special exemptions for outside food and beverage are asked to please contact the Guest Experience Department (905-547-2287 ext. 250) at least one week prior to a game or event.

 

Banners and Signs

Homemade signs and banners are allowed at Tim Hortons Field provided they do not exceed 3ft x 5ft. To ensure that these articles do not distract others, we ask guests to adhere to the following guidelines: banners and signs may not contain advertising or carry disparaging or obscene messages; they may not cover any scoreboards, railings, existing advertising or LED boards; banners and signs may not be placed in the direct sightline of the players and/or infringe on the sightlines of other guests during game play. We reserve the right to permit or remove any sign or banner from Tim Hortons Field at any time.

 

Cashless

All transactions at Tim Hortons Field will be 100% cashless. Accepted forms of payment will include VISA, MasterCard, Debit, American Express.

 

Child Seat Policy

Children 24 months and under may enter without a ticket but must sit on the lap of an accompanying adult. All children over 24 months MUST have a valid ticket for a specific seat location.

 

Concessions

Concessions will be 100% cashless. Purchases will be made using tap with VISA, MasterCard, Discover, Debit. All food will be served in protective to-go packaging and all condiments and cutlery will be individually packaged. No items will be self-service, and all previously used condiment stations will be removed.

All concession staff will wear masks and will wash their hands regularly.

 

Daylight Saving

Daylight saving times begins Sunday at 2AM EST. Please ensure your clocks are updated as the game start time is 4PM EST.

 

Elevators

There are six (6) elevators in Tim Hortons Field. There are 4 elevators located at each corner of the stadium (NW, NE, SE, SW). These 4 elevators are accessible to all attendees. There are 2 elevators located in the middle section of the West Stands. These 2 elevators are only accessible to attendees with Premium Seating via the Premium Seating entrance.

 

Emergency

"If you see something, say something!"

In the event of an emergency, notify the closest member of Event Staff.

 

Evacuation

In case of emergency, you will be directed as to how to orderly evacuate Tim Hortons Field by Event Staff, PA announcements, and Scoreboard instructions.

 

First Aid

If fans in Tim Hortons Field begin to feel ill, they should find help immediately. The stadium's on-site medical team will be fully prepared to help and will have personal protective equipment. First aid rooms will be available on each side of Tim Hortons Field.

 

Gate Information

There are 5 entrances to Tim Hortons Field. Gate 1 and Gate 2 are located on the South end of Tim Hortons Field off of Cannon St. The Premium Seating Entrance (Gate 3) is located in the middle of the West Stands off of Melrose Ave. Gate 4 is located in the North West corner off of Melrose Ave. & Beechwood Ave. Gate 5 is located in the North East corner off of Balsam Ave. & Beechwood Ave. All gates have an Accessible Gate conveniently located close to an elevator.

 

Health Screenings

Following the guidance from the Government of Ontario, as of March 1, fans will not be asked to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend the 2022 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic. The NHL and Tim Hortons Field will continue to monitor local COVID-19 trends and adjust health and safety guidelines as necessary. Please check back for updates as entry requirements and guidelines remain subject to change.

 

Lost and Found

Lost and found is located at Gate 3 Premium Entrance (facing Melrose Ave.) at the Security Desk.

 

Lost Guests

Children and adults separated from their party within Tim Hortons Field will be escorted to the closest Guest Service Location. For assistance in locating a lost guest, contact the nearest member of Event Staff or security officer. A guest who has become separated from his or her party should proceed to the nearest Guest Service Location. Each lower and upper concourse has a Guest Services table.

 

Mask Policy

The use of face coverings is still required when in any indoor location of Tim Hortons Field (e.g., concourses, elevators or restrooms) and is also strongly recommended when fans are seated, except when actively eating or drinking.

 

Merchandise

Officially licensed NHL-merchandise is available at retail locations and novelty shops located in Tim Hortons Field and throughout the PROLINE+ NHL® PreGame. Visit any one of these locations for the widest selection of 2022 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ jerseys, apparel, hats and souvenirs.

 

Mobile Entry

Please access and download your ticket to your iPhone Wallet or Google Pay before heading to Tim Hortons Field.

 

Parking & Public Transportation

Public parking lots will open at noon. Please check https://www.nhl.com/fans/heritage-classic/parking-transportation for more information on available parking and public transportation.

NHL Prohibited Items

For the general safety of all guests the following items are not allowed into Tim Hortons Field & PROLINE+ NHL® PreGame:

  • Weapons or replicas of any kind that includes, but is not limited to: guns, firearms, ammunition, stun guns, self-defense sprays, fuels, torches, lighter fluid, bats, brass knuckles, batons, martial art weapons, knives, razor blades, box cutters, scissors and tools.
  • Explosives, aerosols and fireworks of any kind that includes, but is not limited to: flares, smoke bombs, incendiary devices and pyrotechnics.
  • Bags of any kind larger than 14" x 14" x 6" are prohibited. Please note there is no on-site check-in or storage.
  • Outside alcohol.
  • Illegal drugs, illicit substances or prescription narcotics in non-labelled containers.
  • All tobacco and cannabis related products must be concealed within their package while inside Tim Hortons Field & PROLINE+ NHL® PreGame. Including vaporizers and e-cigarettes.
  • Umbrellas may be brought into Tim Hortons Field but are not permitted to be open anywhere within the facility. We encourage all guests to bring collapsible umbrellas so they can be easily stored under seats.
  • Professional camera equipment that includes but is not limited to: cameras with lenses longer than 3" (detachable or non-detachable), video cameras and the use of video capable devices such as GoPro as well as tripods, selfie sticks, telescopic or similar devices.
  • Items intended to create an optical distraction (laser pointing devices).
  • Aerosol cans or noise making devices, whistles, musical instruments, powered megaphones and air horns.
  • Flag poles/sticks are allowed in the venue IF they do not exceed 4ft in length. Flags and banners exceeding 3ft x 5ft are not permitted unless they are pre-approved by venue staff.
  • All outside food and beverage**.
  • No coolers, glass/metal bottles, or cans of any kind; thermoses/plastic bottles exceeding 1L are also prohibited (exceptions will be made based on extreme heat conditions).
  • Projectiles including, but not limited to: balls, balloons, frisbees and hula hoops.
  • Non-service animals.
  • Seat cushions larger than 15" x 15".
  • Rollerblades, skateboards, hover boards, scooters, bicycles and baby strollers.
    • Strollers or wheelchairs can be stored at any Guest Services location. These items are not permitted in the general seating areas. Collapsible strollers that can fit under seats and clear of the aisle ways are permitted in the stands.
    • Bicycles can be locked on the bike racks outside of Gate 1.
  • Drones (unmanned aircraft systems) or other model aircraft.
  • Inappropriate attire or signage including, but not limited to: profane language, obscene graphics and gang affiliations*****.
  • Headwear or clothing that may impede the view of other guests.
  • Wall affixations.
  • Unapproved pamphlets, handouts and advertisements.

Any guest in possession of any prohibited item(s) will be asked to return the item(s) to their car or dispose of the item(s) in a garbage bin prior to entry.

 

Re-Entry Policy

Re-entry into the 2022 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic™ is not permitted once your ticket has been scanned at the entrance of either Tim Hortons Field or the PROLINE+ NHL® PreGame.

 

Seat Cushions

Guests may bring seat cushions into Tim Hortons Field, provided that the cushion is not larger than 15" x 15".

 

Smoking

Smoking is NOT permitted within Tim Hortons Field or on City of Hamilton property. This includes the use of e-cigarettes and vaporizers.

Ticket Office Location

The main NHL Ticket Office will be located at the South East corner of Tim Hortons Field located by the corner of Balsam Ave. & Cannon St. The box office hours will be from 12PM through the end of 1st Intermission.
