These Official Rules govern the conditions for participation in the Game. Participation is free of charge and independent of the purchase of a good or service.

1. ELIGIBILITY: The Game is open only to persons who meet the following criteria (each such eligible entrant, as applicable, a “Player”):

a) are at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of primary residence as of the date of participation;

b) have an NHL.com account (“NHL Account”);

c) have a user profile/account for the NHL GameZone (“GameZone Account”); and

d) are not an Ineligible Person (defined below).

It is free of charge to register for an NHL Account and no purchase is necessary to participate at any time in the Game.

The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Game (“Ineligible Persons”):

(i) persons that are subject to U.S., EU, UK, or Canadian property-blocking or asset-freezing sanctions;

(ii) persons that are ordinarily resident in any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions (currently, the Crimea, Donetsk People’s Republic, and Luhansk People’s Republic regions of Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria);

(iii) residents of Belarus or Russia;

(iv) residents in any jurisdiction where the Game is otherwise prohibited or restricted by law (in which case, the Game is void); and/or

(v) any person who attempts to register or participate using multiple NHL Accounts and/or GameZone Accounts, multiple email addresses, or any robotic, automated, programmed, or similar entry methods or agents (as further described below).

The Sponsor reserves the right to carry out any checks necessary to ensure compliance with these Official Rules, including, without limitation, any checks necessary to exclude any Player suspected of violating these Official Rules or engaging in any form of abuse or attempted fraud, as the Sponsor determines in its reasonable discretion; provided, however, that Sponsor is not obligated to carry out systematic checks on all Players in the Game.

By participating in the Game, Players accept these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Game. Participation is further subject to confirmation that the Player has taken note of the Sponsor’s privacy policy.

2. GAME PERIOD: This Game begins on or about September 29, 2026, and will be available until further notice is posted on the Game Website and the App (as described below) (the “Game Period”). Sponsor may terminate the Game at any time in its reasonable discretion, subject to applicable law.

3. HOW TO REGISTER: During the Game Period, an eligible Player may participate by visiting the “NHL GameZone” site at nhl.com/gamezone (the “Website”) or by accessing the NHL GameZone using the free NHL app available via mobile phone or tablet from either the Apple or Google Play Store (the “App”). Players must “Sign In” with an existing NHL Account or, if the Player does not yet have an NHL Account, they must register for a free NHL Account by clicking “Sign Up” and following the instructions to complete and submit the registration form by providing the required information as instructed (“Registration”). Following NHL Account verification, upon the user’s first visit to the NHL GameZone, the user will be presented with an “opt-in” page to complete additional information to set up their user profile which includes providing the following: Username, First Name, Last Name, Birth Year, Country, Postal Code, and Favorite NHL Team (Favorite NHL Team includes a prefer not to answer option). Complete Registration and complete GameZone Account information is required for valid participation in this Game.

In the event of a dispute as to any Registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register or associated with the NHL Account used to participate will be deemed to be the Player. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.

4. HOW TO PLAY: The Game challenges fans to try to maintain a streak of correct answers by correctly comparing two (2) featured NHL players and determining whether one NHL player has a higher or lower statistic in the category presented compared to the other NHL player before the countdown clock expires. If an answer has been provided before the countdown clock expires and the NHL player selected has the higher statistic (based on current statistics provided by NHL.com), a green check mark will appear indicating the correct selection has been made and play will continue with the next player matchup presented in the category. If the selection is incorrect, a red “X” will appear, and the current streak will come to an end. If an answer has not been provided before the countdown clock expires, the current streak will also come to an end. In either event, the user will be returned to the Lobby screen and provided with the level number they have achieved and the option to play again. Any correct scores will be saved. Administrator’s clock is the official time-keeping device for this Game.

Note: Standard message and data charges may be incurred by using a mobile device to participate in any aspect of this Game. Check with your wireless service provider for details or any applicable charges. Players are solely responsible for any such wireless charges.

5. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION:

Applicable to United States (including District of Columbia) Players (each, a “US Player”) and Canadian Players (each, a “Canadian Player”):

a) By participating in the Game, Players agree to forever and irrevocably release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless each of the Sponsor, the Administrator, the National Hockey League (“NHL”), the NHL’s Member Clubs, NHL Enterprises, L.P., NHL Enterprises Canada, L.P., NHL Enterprises B.V., NHL Network US, L.P., Deltatre, Inc., any presenting sponsor (if applicable), and each of their respective affiliates and other related entities (past, present and future), together with each of their respective officers, directors, governors, members, partners, partnerships, managers, principals, shareholders, trustees, owners, employees, volunteers, representatives, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from and against any and all liability for any loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense of any nature whatsoever (including amounts paid in settlement and reasonable attorneys’ fees) (collectively, “Losses”) which may occur in connection with (a) the Game or any element thereof, including participation therein, or (b) participation in any Game-related activity including without limitation in each case any Losses that may be caused or contributed to by (1) any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of the Released Parties, or any of their independent contractors or any other person or entity not an employee of any of the Released Parties, or (2) any other cause, condition, or event whatsoever beyond the control of any of the Released Parties.

Applicable to Players in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Czechia:

b) Nothing in these Official Rules restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.

c) Nothing in these Official Rules shall exclude or limit the Released Parties’ liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or for any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law or regulation.

Applicable to all Players:

d) By participating in this Game, to the extent permitted by law, each Player agrees to reimburse the Released Parties in respect of any and all damages, Losses, costs, and expenses (including amounts paid in settlement and reasonable attorneys’ fees) incurred by any of the Released Parties in connection with any third-party claim, demand, liability, suit, proceeding, or action arising out of or resulting from breach of any representations, warranties, or agreements of Player hereunder.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

a) All decisions of Sponsor in connection with this Game shall be binding and final in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right, acting reasonably, to terminate, cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Game in exceptional circumstances, by example only, where any fraud, virus, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play in the Game.

b) Sponsor will disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the Registration or Game-play process or the operation of the Game or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

c) Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Game may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

d) Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term or provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that term or provision.

e) This Game is in no way sponsored by any other entity except for Sponsor. Any questions, comments, or complaints regarding the Game should be directed to the Sponsor. You may contact the Sponsor at [email protected].

7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Without limiting anything set forth above in Section 5 or Section 6 of these Official Rules, Released Parties shall not have any obligation, responsibility, or liability with regard to the following, except, solely with respect to Players in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Czechia, where it is caused by the negligence of the Released Parties:

(a) Registrations submitted through the use of any robotic or automated device/computer program or any other non-human mechanism, entity, or device;

(b) Registrations that are illegible, late, forged, destroyed, lost, misplaced, stolen, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, deleted, damaged, garbled, altered, or otherwise not in compliance with or in violation of these Official Rules, whether caused by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Game or any other reason beyond the Released Parties' control;

(c) Any technical or human error which may occur in the creation, submission, assignment, or processing of Registrations in the Game, including any technical or human error in connection with the Website, the App, and/or the hosting of either of the foregoing;

(d) Registrations or notifications that have not been received by the intended recipient due to transmission, technical, computer, or human failures or errors of any kind, including any Registrations or notifications that are delayed, misdirected, or undelivered as a result of any failure or problem with the availability, functionality, operability, or use of any network, server, ISP, website (including the Website), computer, internet connection, hand-held mobile device, or any other equipment or connection used in connection with the Game;

(e) Changes in a Player’s Registration information which affects the ability to contact such Player;

(f) Typographical errors in the Game’s promotional material;

(g) Any interruptions/postponement/cancellation of the Game in accordance with these Official Rules;

(h) Human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Registration information;

(i) Any technical malfunctions of the computer on-line system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or internet service provider utilized by any of the Released Parties or by Player (including the Website and the App);

(j) Interruption or inability to access the Game, any Game-related web pages (including the Website), or any on-line service via the Internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems;

(k) Any damage to Player’s (or any third person’s) computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of the Game;

(l) Any damage or loss caused to a Player which is not reasonably foreseeable to the Player and to the Released Parties when the Player enters the Game;

(m) Any lost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects; and/or

(n) Any other errors or malfunctions, outside the control of the Released Parties.

Subject to Section 5(b) and 5(c), as applicable, any and all Disputes (as defined below), judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Game, but in no event attorneys’ fees.

8. DISPUTES: PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT MAY SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS INCLUDING WHERE YOU MAY FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT. FOR PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, “NHL” SHALL MEAN SPONSOR AND ITS AFFILIATES (CURRENT AND FUTURE), INCLUDING NHL ENTERPRISES, L.P., NHL ENTERPRISES CANADA, L.P., NHL ENTERPRISES B.V., AND THE NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE, AND THE MEMBER CLUBS OF THE NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE, TOGETHER WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, MEMBERS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AGENTS AND ALL OTHER RELEASED PARTIES. For purposes of these Official Rules, “Dispute” shall be defined as any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Game.

Applicable to US Players:

EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EACH PLAYER AND NHL AGREE THAT ALL DISPUTES ARISING FROM THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL BE LITIGATED IN COURT OR ARBITRATED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL OR TO LITIGATE IN COURT OR ARBITRATE ANY CLAIM AS A CLASS ACTION, REPRESENTATIVE ACTION, OR CLASS ARBITRATION; AND, IF A PLAYER DOES NOT CONSENT TO THIS CLAUSE, SUCH PLAYER SHOULD NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE GAME.

The following is a summary of the Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration, Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver, and Choice of Law terms. For full terms please visit the NHL Terms of Service at https://nhl.com/info/terms-of-service. Any current or future Dispute between the US Player and NHL shall be resolved in binding individual arbitration. Before initiating an arbitration proceeding, a written “notice of Dispute” must be sent containing the following information: (1) name, contact information (address, telephone number, and email address), and account information if applicable; (2) a detailed description of the nature and basis of the Dispute; and (3) a detailed description of the nature and basis of the relief sought, including a calculation for it. If the US Player has a Dispute, such US Player shall send the notice of Dispute by email to [email protected]. US Player and NHL agree to make a good faith effort to resolve the Dispute for at least sixty (60) days following receipt of the notice of Dispute. If such parties cannot resolve the Dispute within that time period, it shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and heard by a single arbitrator. The AAA rules will govern except as specifically modified. All issues are for the arbitrator to decide except the following, which are for a court of competent jurisdiction to decide: (1) issues that are specifically reserved for a court and (2) issues related to the scope and enforceability of the arbitration provisions. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each party may bring claims (whether in court or in arbitration) against the other only in an individual capacity, and not participate as a plaintiff, claimant, or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, private attorney general, or representative proceeding. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the US Player and NHL waive any right to a jury trial. There are additional procedures for “multiple case filings.” These Official Rules and any Dispute will be governed by the laws of the State of New York without regard to its principles of conflicts of laws. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the state and federal courts of New York County, New York shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any Dispute (except for Disputes brought in small claims court) that are not subject to arbitration or over any action involving the applicability or enforceability of any provisions of these Official Rules (including the arbitration provisions and class action waiver).

Applicable to Canadian Players:

Any and all Disputes between the Canadian Player and NHL shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of the Province of Ontario and all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Canadian Players and Sponsor in connection with the Game, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the laws of Canada applicable therein without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Province of Ontario or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Province of Ontario.

Applicable to US Players and Canadian Players:

Except where prohibited by law, and subject to the foregoing, Players agree that: (i) any and all such Disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, (ii) under no circumstances will Players be permitted to obtain awards for, and Players hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, consequential, and/or any other damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, (iii) they waive any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and (iv) they irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of the aforesaid courts, as applicable to each such Player, and waive any claim of forum non conveniens or lack of personal jurisdiction that they may have.

Applicable to Players in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Czechia:

Nothing in these Official Rules shall (a) prohibit the Players from bringing a Dispute in the courts of their home jurisdiction; or (b) affect the statutory rights to have any Dispute governed by the law of their home jurisdiction.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Players in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Czechia, and Sponsor in connection with the Game, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to the country of residence of the Player. Where local mandatory laws do not apply, the laws of the State of New York shall apply.

Applicable to Players in Czechia:

Players, as consumers, have the right to submit a proposal for out-of-court Dispute resolution to the designated entity for out-of-court consumer Dispute resolution, which is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz), with its registered seat at Gorazdova 1969/24, Nové Město, 120 00 Prague 2. 9. SEVERABILITY: If any provision or any part of a provision of these Official Rules is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable as a matter of law, that portion, provision, or part of the provision, as applicable, shall be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the parties, and the remaining portions, provisions, or part of provisions, as applicable, shall remain in full force and effect. If any invalid, unenforceable, or illegal provision would be valid, enforceable, or legal if some part of it were deleted, the provision shall apply with whatever modification is necessary to give effect to the provision. To the extent that modification in accordance with the preceding two sentences is impossible, any invalid, unenforceable, or illegal provision shall be deemed not to form part of these Official Rules and all other provisions of these Official Rules shall remain in force.

10. PRIVACY: Information collected from Players is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.nhl.com/info/privacy-policy. Players are advised that personal information collected will be stored on servers located in the United States and may be accessible to U.S. law enforcement, courts and other governmental institutions pursuant to the laws of the United States. By participating, the Sponsor will collect, use, and distribute personal information of the Players: (i) to administer and run the Game including notifying Players and (ii) as otherwise permitted by Sponsor’s Privacy Policy or applicable law.

Except where prohibited by law, in the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English language version of these rules and any translated versions, the terms and conditions contained in the English language version of the rules shall prevail, govern, and control.

Users must “Sign In” with an existing NHL Account or, if the User does not yet have an NHL Account, they must register for a free NHL Account by clicking on “Sign Up” and following the instructions to complete and submit the registration form by providing the required information as instructed (“Registration”). An NHL Account is required to participate in this Game. A user profile/account for the NHL GameZone (a “GameZone Account”) is not required to play this Game. However, Users who choose to participate in Game-related quests that award points toward entries into sweepstakes offered through the NHL GameZone are required to have a GameZone Account and comply with the applicable official rules governing those separate promotions. 4. HOW TO PLAY: Users may access one (1) new Game board each day during the Game Period. Each Game board consists of twelve (12) words or phrases presented in a grid format. The objective of the Game is to find four (4) groups of three (3) words or phrases that appear to fit into a common NHL category. Users must select three (3) words or phrases and submit their selection by clicking “Shoot”. Correct selections will reveal the associated category and the matching group will be removed from the Game board. Users may continue until four categories have been found or until four (4) incorrect selections have been made. A new Game board will be available each day and expires at 2:59:59 a.m. ET on the applicable next day. Administrator’s clock is the official time-keeping device for this Game.

Sponsor reserves the right, acting reasonably, to terminate, cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Game in exceptional circumstances, by example only, where any fraud, virus, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play in the Game.

    (b) Sponsor will disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the Registration or Game-play process or the operation of the Game or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

    (c) Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Game may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law.

    (d) Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term or provision of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that term or provision.

7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Without limiting anything set forth above in Section 5 or Section 6 of these Official Rules, Released Parties shall not have any obligation, responsibility, or liability with regard to the following, except, solely with respect to Users in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Czechia, where it is caused by the negligence of the Released Parties:

    (a) Registrations submitted through the use of any robotic or automated device/computer program or any other non-human mechanism, entity, or device;

    (b) Registrations that are illegible, late, forged, destroyed, lost, misplaced, stolen, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, deleted, damaged, garbled, altered, or otherwise not in compliance with or in violation of these Official Rules, whether caused by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Game or any other reason beyond the Released Parties' control;

    (c) Any technical or human error which may occur in the creation, submission, assignment, or processing of Registrations in the Game, including any technical or human error in connection with the Website, the App, and/or the hosting of either of the foregoing;

    (d) Registrations or notifications that have not been received by the intended recipient due to transmission, technical, computer, or human failures or errors of any kind, including any Registrations or notifications that are delayed, misdirected, or undelivered as a result of any failure or problem with the availability, functionality, operability, or use of any network, server, ISP, website (including the Website and the App), computer, internet connection, hand-held mobile device, or any other equipment or connection used in connection with the Game;

    (e) Changes in a User’s Registration information which affects the ability to contact such User;

    (f) Typographical errors in the Game’s promotional material;

    (g) Any interruptions/postponement/cancellation of the Game in accordance with these Official Rules;

    (h) Human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Registration information;

    (i) Any technical malfunctions of the computer on-line system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or internet service provider utilized by any of the Released Parties or by User (including the Website and the App);

    (j) Interruption or inability to access the Game, any Game-related web pages (including the Website), or any on-line service via the Internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems;

    (k) Any damage to a User’s (or any third person’s) computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of the Game;

    (l) Any damage or loss caused to a User which is not reasonably foreseeable to the User and to the Released Parties when the User enters the Game;

    (m) Any lost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects; and/or

    (n) Any other errors or malfunctions, outside the control of the Released Parties.

Subject to Section 5(b) and 5(c), as applicable, any and all Disputes (as defined below), judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in this Game, but in no event attorneys’ fees.

8. DISPUTES: PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT MAY SIGNIFICANTLY AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT. For purposes of these Official Rules, “Dispute” shall be defined as any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Game.

Applicable to US Users:

The following is a summary of the Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration, Class Action and Jury Trial Waiver, and Choice of Law terms. Any current or future Dispute between the US User and NHL shall be resolved in binding individual arbitration. Before initiating an arbitration proceeding, a written "notice of Dispute" must be sent containing the following information: (1) name, contact information (address, telephone number, and email address), and account information if applicable; (2) a detailed description of the nature and basis of the Dispute; and (3) a detailed description of the nature and basis of the relief sought, including a calculation for it. If the US User has a Dispute, such US User shall send the notice of Dispute by email to [email protected]. US User and NHL agree to make a good faith effort to resolve the Dispute for at least sixty (60) days following receipt of the notice of Dispute. If such parties cannot resolve the Dispute within that time period, it shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and heard by a single arbitrator. The AAA rules will govern except as specifically modified. All issues are for the arbitrator to decide except the following, which are for a court of competent jurisdiction to decide: (1) issues that are specifically reserved for a court and (2) issues related to the scope and enforceability of the arbitration provisions. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, each party may bring claims (whether in court or in arbitration) against the other only in an individual capacity, and not participate as a plaintiff, claimant, or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, private attorney general, or representative proceeding. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the US User and NHL waive any right to a jury trial. There are additional procedures for “multiple case filings.” These Official Rules and any Dispute will be governed by the laws of the State of New York without regard to its principles of conflicts of laws. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the state and federal courts of New York County, New York shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any Dispute (except for Disputes brought in small claims court) that are not subject to arbitration or over any action involving the applicability or enforceability of any provisions of these Official Rules (including the arbitration provisions and class action waiver).

Applicable to Canadian Users:

Any and all Disputes between the Canadian User and NHL shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of the Province of Ontario and all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Canadian Users and Sponsor in connection with the Game, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the laws of Canada applicable therein without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Province of Ontario or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Province of Ontario.

Applicable to US Users and Canadian Users:

Except where prohibited by law, and subject to the foregoing, Users agree that: (i) any and all such Disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, (ii) under no circumstances will Users be permitted to obtain awards for, and Users hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, consequential and/or any other damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, (iii) they waive any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and (iv) they irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of the aforesaid courts, as applicable to each such User, and waive any claim of forum non conveniens or lack of personal jurisdiction that they may have.

Applicable to Users in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Czechia:

Nothing in these Official Rules shall (a) prohibit Users from bringing a Dispute in the courts of their home jurisdiction; or (b) affect the statutory rights to have any Dispute governed by the law of their home jurisdiction.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Users in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Czechia, and Sponsor in connection with the Game, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to the country of residence of the User. Where local mandatory laws do not apply, the laws of the State of New York shall apply.

Applicable to Users in Czechia:

Users, as consumers, have the right to submit a proposal for out-of-court Dispute resolution to the designated entity for out-of-court consumer Dispute resolution, which is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz), with its registered seat at Gorazdova 1969/24, Nové Město, 120 00 Prague 2. 9. SEVERABILITY: If any provision or any part of a provision of these Official Rules is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable as a matter of law, that portion, provision, or part of the provision, as applicable, shall be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the parties, and the remaining portions, provisions, or part of provisions, as applicable, shall remain in full force and effect. If any invalid, unenforceable, or illegal provision would be valid, enforceable, or legal if some part of it were deleted, the provision shall apply with whatever modification is necessary to give effect to the provision. To the extent that modification in accordance with the preceding two sentences is impossible, any invalid, unenforceable or illegal provision shall be deemed not to form part of these Official Rules and all other provisions of these Official Rules shall remain in force.

10. PRIVACY: Information collected from Users is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.nhl.com/info/privacy-policy. Users are advised that personal information collected will be stored on servers located in the United States and may be accessible to U.S. law enforcement, courts and other governmental institutions pursuant to the laws of the United States. By participating, the Sponsor will collect, use, and distribute personal information of the Users: (i) to administer and run the Game, including notifying Users and (ii) as otherwise permitted by Sponsor’s Privacy Policy or applicable law.

Except where prohibited by law, in the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English language version of these rules and any translated versions, the terms and conditions contained in the English language version of the rules shall prevail, govern, and control.

These Official Rules govern the conditions for participation in the Game. Participation is free of charge and independent of the purchase of a good or service.

1. ELIGIBILITY: The Game is open only to persons who meet the following criteria (each such eligible participant, as applicable, a “User”):

a. are at least the age of majority in their jurisdiction of primary residence as of the date of participation;

b. have an NHL.com account (“NHL Account”);

c. have a user profile/account for the NHL GameZone (“GameZone Account”); and

d. are not an Ineligible Person (defined below).

It is free of charge to register for an NHL Account, and no purchase is necessary to participate at any time in the Game.

The following persons are not eligible to participate in the Game (“Ineligible Persons”):

(i) persons that are subject to U.S., EU, UK, or Canadian property-blocking or asset-freezing sanctions;

(ii) persons that are ordinarily resident in any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive U.S. sanctions (currently, the Crimea, Donetsk People’s Republic, and Luhansk People’s Republic regions of Ukraine, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, and Syria);

(iii) residents of Belarus or Russia;

(iv) residents in any jurisdiction where the Game is otherwise prohibited or restricted by law (in which case, the Game is void); and/or

(v) any person who attempts to register or participate using multiple NHL Accounts and/or GameZone Accounts, multiple email addresses, or any robotic, automated, programmed, or similar entry methods or agents (as further described below).

The Sponsor reserves the right to carry out any checks necessary to ensure compliance with these Official Rules, including, without limitation, any checks necessary to exclude any User suspected of violating these Official Rules or engaging in any form of abuse or attempted fraud, as the Sponsor determines in its reasonable discretion; provided, however, that Sponsor is not obligated to carry out systematic checks on all Users in the Game.

By participating in the Game, Users accept these Official Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Game. Participation is further subject to confirmation that the User has taken note of the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

2. GAME PERIOD: This Game begins on or about September 29, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends following the end of the last game of the 2027 Stanley Cup® Final (the “Game Period”).

3. HOW TO REGISTER: During the Game Period, an eligible User may participate by visiting nhl.com/goalchase, visiting the “NHL GameZone” site at nhl.com/gamezone (the “Website”), or by accessing the NHL GameZone using the free NHL app available via mobile phone or tablet from either the Apple or Google Play Store (the “App”). Users must “Sign In” with an existing NHL Account or, if the User does not yet have an NHL Account, they must register for a free NHL Account by clicking on “Sign Up” and following the instructions to complete and submit the registration form by providing the required information as instructed (“Registration”). Following NHL Account verification, upon the User’s first visit to the NHL GameZone, the User will be presented with an “opt-in” page to complete additional information to set up their User profile which includes providing the following: Username, First Name, Last Name, Birth Year, Country, Postal Code, and Favorite NHL Team (Favorite NHL Team includes a prefer not to answer option). Complete Registration and GameZone Account information are required for valid entry and participation in this Game.

In the event of a dispute as to any Registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register or associated with the NHL Account used to participate will be deemed to be the User. The “authorized account holder” is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address.

4. HOW TO PLAY: The Game challenges Users to try to achieve the longest streak of correct picks and to accumulate the highest point total by correctly selecting one (1) NHL player per NHL gameday/night that they think will score a goal in an NHL game. All NHL players, with the exception of goaltenders, are available for selection. With the exception of the first and second day of the Game Period, options for NHL player selection will be available on the Website three (3) days in advance of the NHL gameday/night. In order for a streak to be maintained, a User must make a selection of an NHL player for each NHL gameday/night featured and the NHL player that the User has selected must also score a goal in an NHL game on that given NHL gameday/night. A streak point will be awarded for each goal that the User’s selected NHL player scores in an NHL game on that given NHL gameday/night. By way of example, if a User makes four (4) correct picks for four (4) consecutive NHL gamedays/nights, they will earn a streak total of four (4). By further example, if a User selects the correct NHL players to score on four (4) consecutive NHL gamedays/nights, and on one (1) of those NHL gamedays/nights one (1) of their selected NHL players scored two (2) goals, the User will earn a streak total of five (5). In the event that a User did not select an NHL player for a given NHL gameday/night, or if the NHL player that the User selected did not score a goal in an NHL game, the current streak will come to an end and the streak will be reset to zero. Administrator’s clock is the official time-keeping device for this Game.

Note: Standard message and data charges may be incurred by using a mobile device to participate in any aspect of this Game. Check with your wireless service provider for details or any applicable charges. Users are solely responsible for any such wireless charges.

5. RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION:

Applicable to United States (including District of Columbia) Users (each, a “US User”) and Canadian Users (each, a “Canadian User”):

a. By participating in the Game, Users agree to forever and irrevocably release, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless each of the Sponsor, the Administrator, the National Hockey League (“NHL”), the NHL’s Member Clubs, NHL Enterprises, L.P., NHL Enterprises Canada, L.P., NHL Enterprises B.V., NHL Network US, L.P., Deltatre, Inc., any presenting sponsor (if applicable) and each of their respective affiliates and other related entities (past, present and future), together with each of their respective officers, directors, governors, members, partners, partnerships, managers, principals, shareholders, trustees, owners, employees, volunteers, representatives, agents, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”), from and against any and all liability for any loss, harm, damage, injury, cost, or expense of any nature whatsoever (including amounts paid in settlement and reasonable attorneys’ fees) (collectively, “Losses”) which may occur in connection with (a) the Game or any element thereof, including participation therein, or (b) participation in any Game-related activity including without limitation in each case any Losses that may be caused or contributed to by (1) any wrongful, negligent, or unauthorized act or omission on the part of any of the Released Parties, or any of their independent contractors or any other person or entity not an employee of any of the Released Parties, or (2) any other cause, condition, or event whatsoever beyond the control of any of the Released Parties.

Applicable to Users in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Czechia:

b. Nothing in these Official Rules restricts your statutory rights as a consumer.

c. Nothing in these Official Rules shall exclude or limit the Released Parties’ liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or for any other liability which cannot be limited or excluded by applicable law or regulation.

Applicable to all Users:

d. By participating in this Game, to the extent permitted by law, each User agrees to reimburse the Released Parties in respect of any and all damages, Losses, costs, and expenses (including amounts paid in settlement and reasonable attorneys’ fees) incurred by any of the Released Parties in connection with any third-party claim, demand, liability, suit, proceeding, or action arising out of or resulting from breach of any representations, warranties, or agreements of Player hereunder.

6. GENERAL CONDITIONS:

a. All decisions of Sponsor in connection with this Game shall be binding and final in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right, acting reasonably, to terminate, cancel, suspend, and/or modify the Game in exceptional circumstances, by example only, where any fraud, virus, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play in the Game.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the state and federal courts of New York County, New York shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any Dispute (except for Disputes brought in small claims court) that are not subject to arbitration or over any action involving the applicability or enforceability of any provisions of these Official Rules (including the arbitration provisions and class action waiver).

Applicable to Canadian Users:

Any and all Disputes between the Canadian User and NHL shall be resolved exclusively by the courts of the Province of Ontario and all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the Canadian Users and Sponsor in connection with the Game, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada and the laws of Canada applicable therein without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Province of Ontario or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Province of Ontario.

Applicable to US Users and Canadian Users:

Except where prohibited by law, and subject to the foregoing, Users agree that: (i) any and all such Disputes shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, (ii) under no circumstances will Users be permitted to obtain awards for, and Users hereby waive all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental, consequential, and/or any other damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, (iii) they waive any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased, and (iv) they irrevocably consent to the personal jurisdiction of the aforesaid courts, as applicable to each such User, and waive any claim of forum non conveniens or lack of personal jurisdiction that they may have.

Applicable to Users in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Czechia:

Nothing in these Official Rules shall (a) prohibit the Users from bringing a Dispute in the courts of their home jurisdiction; or (b) affect the statutory rights to have any Dispute governed by the law of their home jurisdiction.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Users in Sweden, Finland, Germany, and Czechia, and Sponsor in connection with the Game, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the mandatory consumer protection laws applicable to the country of residence of the User. Where local mandatory laws do not apply, the laws of the State of New York shall apply.

Applicable to Users in Czechia:

Users, as consumers, have the right to submit a proposal for out-of-court Dispute resolution to the designated entity for out-of-court consumer Dispute resolution, which is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz), with its registered seat at Gorazdova 1969/24, Nové Město, 120 00 Prague 2. Information on out-of-court Dispute resolution is available at: https://www.coi.cz/informace-o-adr/.

9. SEVERABILITY: If any provision or any part of a provision of these Official Rules is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable as a matter of law, that portion, provision, or part of the provision, as applicable, shall be construed in a manner consistent with applicable law to reflect, as nearly as possible, the original intentions of the parties, and the remaining portions, provisions, or part of provisions, as applicable, shall remain in full force and effect. If any invalid, unenforceable, or illegal provision would be valid, enforceable, or legal if some part of it were deleted, the provision shall apply with whatever modification is necessary to give effect to the provision. To the extent that modification in accordance with the preceding two sentences is impossible, any invalid, unenforceable, or illegal provision shall be deemed not to form part of these Official Rules and all other provisions of these Official Rules shall remain in force.

10. PRIVACY: Information collected from Users is subject to Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.nhl.com/info/privacy-policy. Users are advised that personal information collected will be stored on servers located in the United States and may be accessible to U.S. law enforcement, courts and other governmental institutions pursuant to the laws of the United States. By participating, the Sponsor will collect, use, and distribute personal information of the Users: (i) to administer and run the Game, including notifying Users and (ii) as otherwise permitted by Sponsor’s Privacy Policy or applicable law.

Except where prohibited by law, in the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English language version of these rules and any translated versions, the terms and conditions contained in the English language version of the rules shall prevail, govern and control.
