***Sunday, Jan 27, Pregame: Ice Hockey at Amelie Arena*
What happens when 27 NHL mascots face off for three days of competition at the Franklin Family Hockey Rink? Nothing but family-friendly fun for fans of all ages!
Each event will be preceded by a mascot parade, a warm up and stretching session led by the Lightning's own ThunderBug, a ceremonial puck drop and a group photo. Select young fans in attendance will be able to take part in the warm up and stretching session, so be sure to show up to and wear your colors!
The culmination of the showcase will be an all-mascot All-Star Hockey Game at AMALIE Arena on Sunday, prior to the NHL All-Stars taking the very same ice. (*An All-Star ticket is required to attend, so if you can't be in the building, be sure to watch it streamed LIVE here on NHL.com!)
So check out the rosters and get ready to root for your favorite fuzzy friends as they give their all to bring home the trophies.
TRANSPORTATION NOTE: On Saturday, January 27th, downtown Tampa Bay hosts the Gasparilla Parade, which brings crowds of over 200,000 to downtown, and traffic will be extremely heavy. The NHL advises guests arriving that Saturday to do so prior to 11 A.M. Otherwise road closures may prevent you from accessing your hotel until after the parade's conclusion.
