Kraken Book Club

The Kraken Book Club, the Kraken’s free reading program, celebrates National Reading Month by encouraging elementary students to read all March long! With each completed week of reading, students earn a new charm to add to their Kraken charm bracelet.

Readers will track their minutes at home (with a little help from family) and at school, while teachers submit their classroom totals each week—four submissions in total.

Find out how to join the fun and make March a month of great stories and big reading goal!

Kraken Guest Speaker Series

The Kraken would love to visit your campus! Complete the form, and we’ll do our best to connect you with a Kraken staff member for a classroom visit or guest speaker opportunity — like a career day experience.

Visits are subject to staff availability and will not include players or Buoy. Virtual chats are also available.

Power Play Ball Hockey

Ball hockey is a great way to expose kids to the sport of hockey without the need for ice time or expensive equipment! Elementary and middle schools in western Washington can request ball hockey equipment donations below.

Supported by One Roof Foundation and Virginia Mason Franciscan Health

Field Trips

Students will discover a new way to get active with open skating and lessons, and even have a chance to watch the Seattle Kraken practice. Kraken Community Iceplex can host pre-school, elementary, up through high school & college groups of students for field trips & day camp trips.
