Cam Fowler

On the game
That's a team that comes at you in a lot of different ways. At the same time I'm not taking anything away from our group. We fought like crazy to get that win. I felt like we were defending the entire third period. Khudobin made a couple of big saves at the end and our penalty kill kept us in it. It was a great win for our team but there is still room for improvement.

Corey Perry
On playing the Sharks at SAP Center
San Jose wants to come out and throw everything at the net. They throw the kitchen sink at you and try to win the game in the first period. If you weather the storm against these guys it is huge. This is a big accomplishment for the guys in our dressing room and we were ready to play tonight.

Head Coach Bruce Boudreau
On the team's start
I thought the first fifteen minutes in the first period was as good as we have played all season. We pressured the puck and we were getting scoring chances.

On his team's defensive strategy
In the last half of the game where they started to apply pressure we wanted to make sure that they did not have any odd man rushes. We had some penalty kills on a team with a great power play and our goaltender was stupendous.

Joe Pavleski

On the game
They came in fast tonight and every time we had the puck we gave it back to them. That's kind of the way it went tonight. Obviously we wanted a better start but battled back and gave ourselves an opportunity to score.

Tommy Wingels
On the start
Our first ten minutes for whatever reason were not very good. We were on our heels and did not push the pace of play. It's disappointing because they played last night and there is no reason they should have been more ready to play than us.

Head Coach Peter DeBoer
On the flow of the game
The first ten minutes they obviously had the jump on us and we were standing around watching. That said, from that point on we played a hell of a game. I thought our goalie was great too. We just have to stick with it. You have to give Anaheim credit for coming out ready to play. But that was the only time they were the better team tonight.
