On the game
I thought we did more than enough to win the hockey game. Their goalie played great and made some big saves. We didn’t capitalize on our chances and made a couple of mistakes that ended up in our net. We just need to move on. I like our chances if we play like that every game.

On his shot that hit the post late in regulation
I was just trying to get it off as quick as I could. I think it kind of surprised [Eddie Lack], but the hockey gods weren’t on my side this time. It went through his legs and hit the post. They’re definitely not coming in bunches this year, so I’m just hoping that I’m saving them up for the end of the year and playoffs.

On the remaining games

Every game is going to be a one-goal, playoff-style game. There won’t be a lot of room out there. That’s how it’s going to be down the stretch and in playoffs. These are the games we want to play in. These games still mean a lot, no matter where we are in the division. We still want to play our best every night and get momentum down the stretch. That’s the most important thing.
