Corey Perry

On the Red Wings
They’re a team that never quits. We had some guys that really stepped up with some big blocks and sacrificing the body. It takes everybody to win in this league. It’s been a crazy couple of days, but we got the win and we’ll get out of here.

On the chemistry with Rakell
He’s a great player. He’s got great vision and made two nice passes. I just need to go to the net and make them count. Everybody on different lines are clicking and working together.

Head Coach Bruce Boudreau
On the game
It’s always scary because [the Red Wings] come after you in the third. They’ve tied so many games late in the third, but at the same time, I had confidence in our guys. We weren’t giving them too much. They got a goal, but I didn’t think we gave them much after that. To win in this league, especially on the road in a tough environment, you have to have your best players be your best players.

On the new line combinations
So far, it’s working. It’s a really good sign when you’re getting a balanced attack. We hadn’t had that all year. We’re getting goals from different lines. These are all really good signs of a team coming together

On Gibson’s performance

He was solid. It’s tough when your first shot on goal is a breakaway. Other than that, he held the fort. He made a big save when it was 2-2 on Mike Green. That was a turning point for us.

On the team's composure
It shows we’re starting to get some perseverance, push-back and some belief in themselves, and that’s important.
