More than 60 Participate in G.O.A.L. Mini 1-on-1 Tournament

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks
The Anaheim Ducks G.O.A.L. Hockey Program held their inaugural Anaheim Ducks Mini 1-on-1 Tournament on Saturday, September 25 at Honda Center. Over 60 participants attended the event, coming from all areas of Southern California including San Diego, Orange County and Los Angeles. Shooters dazzled the crowd with spin-o-ramas, dekes and perfectly placed wrist shots, while goalies made some breathtaking saves.

The winning shooter and goaltender from the morning session will take on the champions from the afternoon session in front of a packed house at Honda Center during the first intermission of the Ducks-Oilers game on Sunday, November 21. The winning team will be awarded a trip to the NHL All-Star Game in Raleigh, North Carolina on January 30.
