Senior Alison Pankowski has been accepted to and has committed to attend Princeton University next fall.

Senior Alison Pankowski has been accepted to and has committed to attend Princeton University next fall. She is the first Lady Duck to attend an Ivy League university and will compete in the ECAC and Ivy League for the Tigers on the ice next fall. Alison has been part of the Lady Ducks since age 8 and has been a Blue line leader for the club, making four trips to USAHockey Nationals, including earning 3 Bronze medals.
Senior Jessica Hon has been accepted to and has committed to attend St. Lawrence University next fall. Jessica will also participate in the elite ECAC hockey league and has also been part of the Lady Ducks program since mites. After moving from defense to forward as a peewee, Jessica has been a top scoring forward and has contributed to the Lady Ducks' four USAHockey Nationals appearances and earned three bronze medals with the program.
Junior Kaliya Johnson has committed in 'early decision' to attend Boston College. Kaliya is excited to make her decision for college early and is looking forward to compete for the Eagles in 2012. Kaliya has been an outstanding offensive defenseman who came to the Lady Ducks as an 8 1/2-year-old (playing on the 12u team for 4 years). Kaliya has been part of six Lady Ducks teams at the USA Hockey National Championships, earning the National Championship gold in 2007 along with four bronze medals.
Congratulations are also in order for Lady Ducks alum Taylor Volpe, who scored her first career collegiate goal for the ECAC Colgate Raiders on Saturday, October 23 vs. Wayne State. Congratulations to a tremendously successful Lady Duck champion, four-time team captain, USA Hockey Nationals participant and bronze medalist.

The Lady Ducks are proud of their 12 years of growing female hockey in the Pacific District. The Lady Ducks have established the standard for success at both player development and tradition of success in the West. The Lady Ducks program offers developmental hockey for girls of all ages, from in house instruction to elite National-level competition and collegiate student-athlete exposure.
