It has been determined that Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler suffered a broken nose in last night's 3-2 Ducks win over Phoenix. He is expected to accompany the team on the upcoming road trip and is probable for Wednesday’s game at Columbus.
Fowler was driven face-first into the boards in the second period after skating around three different Coyotes and taking a shot that nearly snuck over the goal line. He left the ice with a noticeable cut on the bridge of his nose and did not return to the game.
Earlier in the period, Fowler scored his first career goal to give Anaheim its first lead of the game.
