Ducks Reassign Wagner to Norfolk (AHL)

The Ducks have reassigned forward Chris Wagner to the Norfolk Admirals, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).<

Wagner, 23 (5/27/91), appeared in three games for Anaheim this season, going scoreless with two penalty minutes (PIM). Wagner made his NHL debut on Oct. 17 vs. Minnesota and won 10-of-18 faceoff attempts for a 55.6% success rate in his three appearances with the Ducks.

Selected in the fifth round (122nd overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, Wagner has collected 13-13=26 points with 54 PIM in 41 games for Norfolk this season. The 6-0, 202-pound Wagner returns to the Admirals co-leading the club in scoring and goals, and leading in shorthanded goals (2).
