Ducks Host Meet the Team on October 5

The Ducks will host Meet the Team presented by on Tuesday, October 5 (7 p.m.) at Bluewater Grill at The District at Tustin Legacy.

Ducks fans and supporters have the opportunity to participate in “Tuesday Fight Night” where they can challenge their favorite Anaheim Ducks players to a Nintendo Wii boxing match. Former UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) light heavyweight champion and Huntington Beach native Tito Ortiz, who will face Matt “The Hammer” Hamill at the upcoming UFC 121 at Honda Center on Oct. 23, will serve as a special guest at the Ducks “Tuesday Fight Night.” Tickets are currently on sale and all proceeds from the evening will benefit the Anaheim Ducks Foundation and Register Charities.

The entire Ducks roster, coaches and management will attend Meet the Team presented by In addition to the interactive evening featuring Wii boxing, guests can enjoy specialty cocktails and fantastic food, and mingle with Ducks players, newcomers and veterans alike. One-of-a-kind silent auction items will be available at Meet the Team presented by, including exclusive experiences such as watching a Ducks game from the General Manager’s box with Executive Vice President/General Manager Bob Murray. Guests can also bid on tickets to UFC 121 on Oct. 23 at Honda Center and a pair of round-trip tickets on Jet Blue. Opportunity drawing tickets for impressive prizes to be raffled off at the end of the evening will be sold throughout the night. The Ducks Meet the Team “Tuesday Fight Night” takes place just before the club departs Orange County for its 2010-11 NHL regular season opener on Friday, Oct. 8 at Detroit (4 p.m. PDT). Anaheim’s home opener will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at Honda Center (7:05 p.m. PDT) vs. the Vancouver Canucks.

Tickets for Meet the Team presented by are still available and can be purchased by contacting the Anaheim Ducks Community Relations Department (1-877-WILD WING) or by CLICKING HERE. Individual tickets are $225 and only those age 21-and-over may attend.
