The Wild Wingers Kids Club and Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) partnered up to start an annual donation drive to help bring smiles to the hospital patients. All Anaheim Ducks fans were given the opportunity to donate a Wild Wingers Kids Club kit or a cash donation to CHOC. By the end of the promotion, over 600 Kids Club kits were donated along with over $7,500 in cash donations.
On Dec. 4, members of the Anaheim Ducks hand delivered the kits to each deserving child at the hospital. Along with delivering the kits, the players interacted with the children, helping to create lasting memories.
For their help in this great cause, each donor was given a ticket to a future Ducks home game. Along with earning a ticket, all donors who gave a cash donation earned a chance through a raffle to meet Teemu Selanne and receive one of his game-used, signed sticks. Steven Lelewer from San Dimas, Calif. was the winner of the contest.
The Anaheim Ducks express their sincere thanks to all that were involved in making this great cause such a huge success!
