The Ducks have extended the team's radio broadcast agreement with AM 830 KLAA, the flagship home of the Anaheim Ducks. The one-year deal includes pre-, regular and postseason coverage on the 50,000-watt radio station.
“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with AM 830,” said Anaheim Ducks Director of Broadcasting Aaron Teats. “The combination of a strong signal and continued support for the Ducks makes AM 830 a great flagship home for the team and fans alike.”
Steve Carroll will return for his 11th season as the Anaheim Ducks radio play-by-play voice in 2009-10. Carroll will be joined in the broadcast booth this season by new color analyst Dan Wood. Radio coverage of the Ducks’ 2009-10 campaign begins with all eight preseason contests, starting Sept. 16 vs. Phoenix at Honda Center (7:05 p.m.). Ducks fans will continue to enjoy pre- and postgame shows along with other hockey-related programs as part of the station’s regular lineup.

Major elements of the agreement also include AM 830 advertising during Ducks television broadcasts, on Honda Center outdoor marquees, arena dasherboards, HondaVision, and in Ducks publications. In addition, AM 830 will have a presence on AnaheimDucks.com, the official website of the Anaheim Ducks.
