Comeback Kids

by Staff Writer / Anaheim Ducks

On January 6, the Ducks were in 12 place in the Western Conference 12 points out of eighth. Since then, Anaheim has gone 7-2-0 to move to within three points of the eighth and final playoff spot (10th place).

The Ducks have won three of the last four games and have posted an 8-2-0 record in the last 10. The Ducks are also 8-3-0 in the second half of the season to improve to a cumulative 102-55-18 in the second half of each season going back to the 2005-06 campaign.

Comebacks
Following Saturday night's comeback win in St. Louis, the Ducks now have six wins this season when trailing after two periods (6-16-0), tying for the league lead with Minnesota (6-19-1). The six such wins ties the Ducks club record for a single season (2007-08, 6-24-1).

The Ducks have 11 come-from-behind wins this season, of which seven have been third-period comebacks (including Jan. 7 vs. STL, which was tied after two periods before the Blues took the lead). Anaheim is 8-2-0 in the last 10 games, with four of the eight wins featuring third-period comebacks.
