The Ducks will host their 14th annual Casino Night this Thursday, Jan. 13 at Honda Center. The event, entitled Center Ice Country Fair presented by The Klein Family, go to the Anaheim Ducks Foundation, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Orangewood Children’s Foundation for the sixth consecutive year. The entire Ducks roster will sport country western duds, while dealing and playing cards with all supporters in attendance. The VIP Barn will open at 6 p.m., with general admission doors opening at 7 p.m.
“It’s great to see our partnership with Orangewood Children’s Foundation continue for another fabulous Casino Night,” said Ducks Director of Community Relations Wendy Yamagishi. “Since 2006, the Ducks have helped to raise over $500,000 for Orangewood, and we look forward to increasing that total with another spirited evening here at Honda Center.”
Following the Ducks’ contest on Wednesday night vs. St. Louis at Honda Center, the arena floor will transform into an old fashioned country fair. In addition to Western-themed food and gaming tables, attendees will have the opportunity to ride on a Ferris wheel for a bird’s-eye view of the festivities taking place below. Live music from Merchants of Moonshine will guarantee a boot-stomping good time. Themed drinks such as Summer Breeze Lemonade and Cowboy Kool-Aid will be served throughout the evening. Guests can also dine on country fair favorites such as fried green tomatoes, pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, corn on the cob, funnel cake and much more. Attendees are encouraged to keep the theme in mind when dressing for the occasion.
Guests will also be given the opportunity to place bids on a variety of silent auction items and enter in opportunity drawings throughout the evening. Silent auction and opportunity drawing items include exciting vacation destinations, jewelry, Ducks tickets and autographed merchandise.
General admission tickets to the 2011 Anaheim Ducks Casino Night: Center Ice Country Fair presented by The Klein Family are available for $100. A limited amount of tickets remain for the VIP Barn, which are being sold for $500 each. For more information, please visit AnaheimDucks.com/casinonight

The mission of Orangewood Children’s Foundation is to provide innovative services for abused and neglected children and at-risk families to end the cycle of child abuse one life at a time. Our programs focus on the areas of education, supportive services, life-stage transition and child abuse prevention. A significant key to our success is the hard-work and support of our 44 Women for Children auxiliary. Founded in 1999 by Susan Samueli, 44 Women for Children focuses on nurturing, supporting and inspiring adolescents emancipating from the foster care system on their 18th birthdays. The auxiliary hosts annual fundraising events to support Orangewood’s college scholarship and Peer Mentor programs. Since 1999, 44 Women for Children has raised over $2.0 million for the Foundation.
