Last night in Dallas, Devante Smith-Pelly
(21 years and 317 days) became the youngest Ducks player to record a multi-goal game in the postseason (previously Bobby Ryan, 22 years and 37 days; two goals on Apr. 23, 2009 vs. SJ).
Jonas Hiller became the first goalie in Ducks history to win a playoff game in relief (stopped 12-of-12 shots).
With his OT game-winning goal, Nick Bonino joined Scott Niedermayer, Paul Kariya and Petr Sykora as the only Ducks players to have two OT goals in Ducks postseason history (all have 2).
Last night marked just the third time in franchise history where two Ducks players had multi-goal performances in a single playoff game (the aforementioned Smith-Pelly and Bonino). The feat was previously accomplished by Joffrey Lupul/Dustin Penner, May 25, 2006 @ EDM (6-3 win), and Paul Kariya/Teemu Selanne, Apr. 16, 1997 vs. PHX (4-2 win).
The Ducks became the fifth NHL team since 1977 to rally from a multiple-goal deficit in the final 2:10 of regulation to win a playoff game. The previous four instances: BOS vs. TOR, 5/13/13 (BOS won 5-4 OT, 1:22 remaining when rally started), DAL @ EDM, 4/15/01 (DAL won 3-2 OT, 1:03 remaining), QUE vs. MTL, 4/18/93 (QUE won 3-2 OT, 1:19 remaining), PHI @ TOR, 4/17/77 (PHI won 6-5 OT, 1:49 remaining).*
