In addition to today’s ticket on-sale announcement, the NHL also unveiled the Chrome Collection logos. Chrome-treated team logos have been created for every NHL club participating in the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™. The Chrome logo designs are unique to the NHL Stadium Series and inspired from the chrome details on the NHL shield, bringing a dynamic and modern perspective to conventional team identities. The special Ducks jersey for the 2014 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series™ will be unveiled at a later date.

Opened on April 10, 1962, Dodger Stadium is the third-oldest continually used park in Major League Baseball. The host for eight World Series and close to 4,000 regular season games, this will be the first time Dodger Stadium will be the home of a hockey game. With its view of Chavez Ravine overlooking downtown Los Angeles and the San Gabriel Mountains, Dodger Stadium has been called one of the treasured cathedrals of baseball with one of the most picturesque settings in sports.

In the 112-game history between the Ducks and Kings, January’s outdoor game will serve as just the second neutral site in regular season competition. The two clubs competed in two contests in London, England at the O2 Arena as part of the 2007 NHL Premiere. The clubs split the contests, with the Kings winning the first game on Sept. 29, 2007 and the Ducks taking the second contest the following night (both 4-1 decisions). The Ducks are 49-41-22 all-time against the Kings with the first meeting of the 2013-14 regular season taking place on Dec. 3 at Honda Center. Anaheim became the first NHL team from California to win the Stanley Cup in 2007, with the Kings following as the second California team to win hockey’s ultimate prize in 2012.
