Forward Zack MacEwen has been activated off of Injured Reserve, the Devils announced this afternoon.
MacEwen will return to the lineup against the New York Islanders on Monday night.
The 29-year-old was injured in his first appearance this season when he suited up against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Oct. 11. He played 7:12 before leaving the game with two shots on goal.
MacEwen was acquired by New Jersey on Oct. 4 from the Ottawa Senators in exchange for forward Kurtis MacDermid.
