New Jersey fans hungry for the latest video, news, and tweets have a new tool at their disposal. The three-time Stanley Cup Champions have partnered with DeskSite to deliver fans a new personalized digital platform, the Devils DeskSite. This Big Screen app serves as a digital hub for Devils content, including a customizable HD video content library and links to the team’s radio broadcast, social pages, and website.
Both diehard and casual fans can customize their viewing experience to watch the most interesting and exciting pieces of content pulled from the roughly 2000 Devils-produced videos on the team website. From post-game press conferences and player interviews to original content, the app creates a simple way to download videos preferred by the user.
“Devils fans are some of the most passionate and engaging in all of sports, and we are focused on bringing our team closer to them,” said Adam Davis, Chief Revenue Officer of the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center. “We are excited to partner with an innovative company like DeskSite to provide our fans with a new way to connect with our video content.”
By downloading videos to a desktop, laptop, or tablet, the Devils DeskSite viewing experience for fans will never be hindered by the buffering, freezing, or dropping associated with a spotty internet connection. Like a DVR, it proactively loads the videos to users’ devices, making them viewable on-demand, both online and offline, in any location.
“The Devils DeskSite offers fans a connection that’s deeper and closer than anything else on the Internet today,” said Richard Gillam, CEO of DeskSite. “If you’re a Devils fanatic, this is a must-have experience.”
Devils DeskSite is currently available here for computers running Windows (XP Service Pack 3 or newer) and OS X (version 10.8 or newer). Tablet versions for iOS and Android are coming soon.
