Bud Light Six Pack of Stats: NJD @ PIT

by Staff Writer / New Jersey Devils

1. This is the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two clubs, first since March 6 at Prudential Center. The Devils are seeking to split the overall series (1-2-0) with a win in Pittsburgh (0-1-0).

2. Coach John Hynes' group has won four of its last six games (4-2-0) and is 3-3-0 over its last six road games. This is New Jersey's third in a stretch of five straight games vs. Metropolitan Division opponents.

3. Scott Wedgewood will make his second straight start after posting 27 saves to beat Columbus on Sunday. He became the first Devils goaltender to win in his NHL debut since Martin Brodeur on Mar. 26, 1992 vs. Boston.

4. Forward Blake Pietila is set to make his NHL debut tonight. A fifth-round pick in 2011, Pietila would become the seventh player to skate in his NHL debut for the Devils this season. The Milford, Mich., native has 16 points (9g-7a) in 54 games with Albany (AHL) this season, including three power-play goals.

5. Adam Henrique, who has posted 2g-2a-4pts over his last six games vs. Pittsburgh, needs two points to reach 200 points for his career.

6. The Devils are looking to snap a five-game losing streak at CONSOL Energy Center.
