Team Notes

• The Devils have won eight of their last 10 (8-2-0) and have points in nine of their last 11 games overall (8-2-1=17pts).

• New Jersey has won three consecutive home games for the first time since Feb. 17-23, 2015 (4-0-0) and improved to 4-3-1 at Prudential Center overall.

• The Devils are now 3-0 in overtime this season.

• New Jersey's 49 PIM tonight was the club's most since totaling 52 PIM Oct. 19, 2002 at Carolina (L, 1-3).

• The Devils were 6/6 on the penalty kill tonight and are 16/17 (94.1%) on the PK over the past six games

Player Notes

Keith Kinkaid (28 saves) made his first start since Oct. 13 vs. Nashville (ten games) & earned his first win since Apr. 3 vs. Montreal.

Kyle Palmieri scored his third career OT goal (PPG)/second game-winning goal of the season. He also registered the primary assist on Sergey Kalinin's goal for the 100th point of his NHL career (48g-53a-101pts). Palmieri has points in a season-high three straight games (2g-3a-5pts) & 4g-5a-9pts over his last six appearances. He also led the Devils with 5 shots on goal in the contest.

Adam Henrique scored the 11th shorthanded goal of his NHL career and added an assist to record his fourth multiple-point game of the season. He snapped a five-game scoring drought and now has 7g-4a-11pts overall. Henrique led the Devils with 23:36 of TOI.

Henrique's 11 SHG since 2011-12 is the most among all NHL players during that span (tie, Brad Marchand and Brandon Sutter). He's also tied Stephane Richer and Doug Brown for third in Devils' history behind only John Madden (17) and Patrik Elias (16).

Mike Cammalleri recorded 1g-1a-2pts for his fourth multiple-point game of the season. He has goals/points in back-to-back games (2g-1a-3pts).

Sergey Kalinin scored his first career NHL goal. It was his second point of the season/first since Oct. 24 at Buffalo.

Lee Stempniak collected a pair of assists & now has points in back-to-back games (1g-3a-4pts) & and in three of the last four contests (1g-4a-5pts).

Travis Zajac extended his point-scoring streak to a season-high three straight games (2g-2a-4pts) with an assist on Henrique's goal. It's his first three-game scoring streak since Mar. 8-14, 2014 (3 games, 2g-3a-5pts). Zajac now has 6g-5a-11pts over his last eight appearances.

Adam Larsson collected an assist on Kalinin's goal for his first point since Oct. 20 vs. Arizona (7 games). He received a five-minute major for interference and a game misconduct for a hit on Jared McCann at 9:55 of the third period. Larsson's 17 PIM overall tonight was a career-high.

Jordin Tootoo received a five-minute fighting major (vs. Derek Dorsett) and a ten-minute misconduct at 12:04 of the second period. He also received a minor penalty for holding in the first period & tied his career-high with 17 total PIM (also, Feb. 21, 2013 vs. Columbus & Dec. 22, 2003 vs. Phoenix). Tootoo leads New Jersey with 35 PIM overall this season.

Bobby Farnham received a five-minute major for fighting Jake Virtanen at 14:11 of the second period.

Stefan Matteau was a healthy scratch for the sixth consecutive game.

Eric Gelinas was scratched for the second straight game.
