A limited number of spots are available for the Coyotes Development Program mini-camps taking place Friday-Sunday (Aug. 15-17) at the Desert Schools Coyotes Center in Chandler.
House league Squirts (ages 9-10) and Peewees (ages 11-12) will receive instruction on power skating, small area games, off-ice conditioning, shooting, passing, and in-depth goaltending. Moreover, this mini-camp is great preparation for the upcoming youth season.

, Director of Prospect Development and former goaltender Sean Burke, Power Skating Coach Mark Ciaccio, radio broadcaster Louie DeBrusk, and video coordinator Steve Peters are scheduled to participate.
“Having players involved in our summer camps and youth hockey programs in general is key to the success of these programs,” Scott Storkan, Manager of Hockey Development with the Coyotes said. “These summer camps allow young hockey players a chance to be on the ice with current and former NHL players and give them an experience that will last a lifetime. “
Registration is limited to 36 players for each group (house and travel) and participants will receive a jersey, T-shirt, workout shorts, and water bottle for the $250 fee. While the travel group is full, spots in the house group remain.
