Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers to Perform at Rally/Draft Viewing Party on June 26

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- The Arizona Coyotes announced today that Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers (RCPM) will perform live at the Coyotes Rally/Draft Viewing Party on Friday, June 26 at Gila River Arena. The event (3-7 p.m.) is free and open to the public and doors will open at 2:30 p.m. All fans should enter Gila River Arena at the main entrance (Gate 4). The Coyotes will also unveil their new home and away jerseys and uniforms beginning at 3:30 p.m.

“We’re thrilled to have local favorite Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers perform at our Draft viewing party and rally next Friday,” said Coyotes Co-Owner, President and CEO Anthony LeBlanc. “The outpouring of support from our fans the past few weeks has been incredible so we wanted to thank them by having RCPM perform. It should be a fun night and we look forward to seeing everyone at Gila River Arena.”

Hailing locally from Tempe, Arizona the Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers’ career has spanned more than a decade and has included the release of nine albums. Their album Unida Cantina peaked at number two on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and number four on iTunes Rock Albums list in 2011. RCPM are the only independent band to debut in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Internet Sales chart for six consecutive albums. Fans can look forward to hearing RCPM hits like “¡Americano!”, “Green & Dumb”, “Heaven on a Paper Plate”, “Counterclockwise”, “Switchblade”, “Loco to Stay Sane” and more.

The Coyotes will also unveil their new home and away jerseys and uniforms for the upcoming 2015-16 season at the Draft party. The first round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida will be televised from 4-7 p.m. on the NHL Network. The Coyotes currently own the 3rd overall draft selection as well as an additional first round draft choice (Chicago – 30th). Fans will be able to watch complete coverage of the first round of the draft on the arena video board. Rounds 2-7 will take place on Saturday, June 27 and will also be televised on the NHL Network.

Coyotes’ first round draft picks Brendan Perlini (2014), Max Domi (2013) and Connor Murphy (2011) along with second round draft choice Christian Dvorak (2014) will be at Gila River Arena to introduce the Coyotes new home and away jerseys and uniforms. The unveiling will take place on the arena floor from 3:30 – 4:00 p.m. prior to the start of the Draft. Perlini, Domi, Murphy and Dvorak will also be available at a “Selfie Station” to take photos with fans 16 years and younger from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. A select number of wristbands for the Selfie Station will be provided to fans in attendance ages 16 and under.

Burns and Gambo from Arizona Sports 98.7 FM will broadcast their show live from the arena in the BMW iLounge from 2-6 p.m. Coyotes Radio Play-by-Play Announcer Bob Heethuis and Radio Host Luke Lapinski will provide Draft updates throughout the first round.

Kids attending the Coyotes Draft party can play ball hockey on the arena floor and the Coyotes will have two Zambonis and NHL nets available for fan photos. Kids will also have an opportunity to take a slapshot on an NHL goal or play in the Coyotes Bounce House. In addition, Howler and members of the Paw Patrol will be on hand to interact with fans. Concessions will be open to all fans on the east side of Gila River Arena. Food and beverage items will be available for purchase.

Fans interested in pre-ordering the Coyotes’ new home and away jerseys can place their order at the Coyotes Den on June 26. The new jerseys will be available for pick up at the Coyotes Den beginning in mid-September.
