PHOENIX COYOTES AND DESERT SCHOOLS TEAM UP FOR ANNUAL COIN DRIVE CELEBRATION

GLENDALE, Ariz. --- The Phoenix Coyotes and Desert Schools Federal Credit Union have teamed up to recognize the efforts and success of Alhambra School District students who have been collecting coins to fund college scholarships for other students and to encourage greater community support.
 
Coyotes forwards Peter Mueller and Daniel Winnik will be accompanied by Howler, the team mascot, at the celebration to recognize the students’ achievements. Also attending the event will be Desert Schools’ Trianna Oglivie who will discuss the importance of saving for and going to college.
 
The event will be held Monday, March 10 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Granada East Elementary School (MAP) in Phoenix.
