by Staff Writer / Arizona Coyotes

COYOTES MASCOT "HOWLER" TO DEBUT PLUSH DOLL
TO CHILDREN AT WEST VALLEY CHILD CRISIS CENTER

The Phoenix Coyotes' mascot "Howler" will visit the children of West Valley Child Crisis Center on Friday, January 27, 2006 at 3:30 P.M. to debut and distribute Howler Plush Dolls, which will be given to the first 10,000 fans in attendance at Saturday's Coyotes game against the San Jose Sharks.  Game time is 7:00 P.M.

West Valley Child Crisis Center provides temporary shelter and supervision to children who are victims, or are at risk of, abuse, neglect, or abandonment.  WVCCC provides a safe, nurturing, homelike environment and is staffed by quality care providers.  WVCCC also interacts with the community to increase awareness of, and work to prevent, the cycle of child abuse.

Howler will visit the children and distribute their gifts at approximately 3:30 P.M.
