HOWLER LENDS A HAND TO YOUTH HOCKEY

by Staff Writer / Arizona Coyotes

On Thursday, July 27th, members of the Phoenix Coyotes Youth Hockey and Fan Development departments and Howler, the Coyotes mascot, visited the Arcadia Ice Arena in Phoenix to donate hockey equipment and interact with the Children's Camp. The Coyotes understand the importance and need of growing youth hockey awareness in the Phoenix area, and donated hockey equipment to assist in all of the hockey programs at the Arcadia Ice rink. Skates, shin pads, gloves, helmets and jerseys were all part of the hockey equipment donation.

The Coyotes work with numerous organizations throughout the Valley to help promote hockey and help instruct kids and adults about the game. The Kids First program, NHL Street Coyotes, along with an association with the Boys and Girls Club, are some of the ways the Coyotes help promote the sport of hockey.
