WAYNE GRETZKY WEARS A MICROPHONE FOR THURSDAY’S
OILERS/COYOTES TELECAST ON FSN ARIZONA
“HD THURSDAY NIGHTS WITH THE COYOTES”
RETURNS FOR ITS SECOND SEASON
For the third straight season, FSN Arizona will outfit Phoenix Coyotes head coach Wayne Gretzky with a microphone for one of its telecasts, adding an always interesting production element for viewers during this Thursday’s Coyotes telecast from Jobing.com Arena against the Edmonton Oilers.
Gretzky has agreed to wear a microphone for this game against his former team that can be seen Thursday, Oct. 18, only on FSN Arizona. Throughout the game viewers will get an exclusive opportunity to see firsthand how Gretzky manages the game and his players, as well as what has to say to the referees. The network’s coverage gets started live from Jobing.com Arena at 6:30 p.m. with Qwest Coyotes Live hosted by Todd Walsh.
The telecast will also mark the return of “HD Thursday Nights with the Coyotes.” Thursday’s game against the Oilers is the second Coyotes game of the season to be broadcast in High Definition. In all, FSN Arizona will telecast 10 Thursday night games in HD during the 2007-8 season.
