GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have signed left wing Todd Fedoruk to a three-year contract. As per club policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Todd will add a physical presence to our lineup next season,” said Maloney.  “He is a tough, intimidating player who will give support to our younger players.”
Fedoruk, 29, recorded 6-7-13 and 139 penalty minutes (PIM) in 69 regular season games with the Dallas Stars and Minnesota Wild last season, setting a new career-high for goals.  He also appeared in all six of Minnesota’s playoff games last year, recording 1-1-2 and 16 PIM.
The 6-foot-2, 235-pound Fedoruk has appeared in 423 career NHL games for Minnesota, Dallas, Anaheim and Philadelphia, recording 23-55-78 and 924 PIM.  He has also collected 1-1-2 and 54 PIM in 25 career playoff games.  In 2005-06, the Redwater, Alberta native set career-highs in games played (76), assists (19), points (23) and PIM (174) while playing for Anaheim.
Fedoruk was originally drafted by Philadelphia in the seventh round (164th overall) of the 1997 Entry Draft.
