Coyotes Recall Pouliot from AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today the Coyotes have recalled forward Marc-Antoine Pouliot from the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 6-foot-2, 203 pound Pouliot has appeared in 41 games with the Pirates this season, recording 7-20-27 and 57 penalty minutes (PIM). He has also appeared in nine games with the Coyotes, collecting two assists. In 2010-11, Pouliot appeared in 69 games with Norfolk (AHL), recording 25-47-72. He finished the regular season sixth in league scoring.

The 26-year-old native of Quebec City, Quebec has registered 21-34-55 and 76 PIM in 188 career NHL games with the Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning & Edmonton Oilers.

Pouliot was originally drafted in the first round (22nd overall) by the Oilers in the 2003 Entry Draft.
