Coyotes Recall Pogge From AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA – Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today the Coyotes have recalled goaltender Justin Pogge on an emergency basis from the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 6-foot-3, 197 pound Pogge has appeared in seven games with the Pirates this season, posting a record of 3-2-2-0 with a 3.22 goals against average (GAA) and a .891 save percentage (SV%).

In 2010-11, Pogge appeared in 48 games with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL), registering a 22-18-1-4 record with a 3.12 GAA and a .907 SV%.

Pogge was originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third round (90th overall) in the 2004 Entry Draft.
