Coyotes Recall Justin Pogge from AHL

GLENDALE, ARIZONA –
Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today the Coyotes have recalled goaltender Justin Pogge from the Portland Pirates, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 6-foot-3, 197 pound Pogge has appeared in seven games with the Pirates this season, posting a record of 3-2-2-0 with a 3.22 goals against average (GAA) and a .891 save percentage (SV%). This is Pogge’s second recall of the season.

In 2010-11, Pogge appeared in 48 games with the Charlotte Checkers (AHL), registering a 22-18-1-4 record with a 3.12 (GAA) and a .907 SV%.

Pogge was originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third round (90th overall) in the 2004 Entry Draft.

The Coyotes also announced that defenseman Adrian Aucoin has been placed on Injured Reserve with a lower-body injury, retroactive to Saturday, December 17.
