GLENDALE, Ariz. --- The deadline for Arizona nonprofits to apply for a Phoenix Coyotes Charities grant is quickly approaching. Nonprofits are able to submit 2008-09 grant proposals until 5 p.m. on Friday, July 11.
To be eligible, organizations must be classified as a 501(c)(3) public charity and focus on improving the lives of children in the areas of healthcare, education, cultural arts or youth sports.

Coyotes Charities has granted nearly $1.4 million to youth-oriented organizations in Arizona including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Valley Youth Theatre and Special Olympics Arizona.
Coyotes Charities, a registered 501(c)(3) organization, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life throughout Arizona communities by supporting non-profit organizations that promote healthcare, education, cultural arts and sports-related programs for children.
