On Friday, Coyotes Charities, the charitable foundation of the Phoenix Coyotes, held its sixth annual Coyotes Charities Golf Classic at Wigwam Resort and Golf Club in Litchfield Park.
The event, which was sponsored by Heritage Graphics, raised money for Coyotes Charities.  Coyotes Charities provides funding for organizations and programs that enhance the lives of children throughout Arizona, such as prevention and wellness programs, as well as cultural arts programs.

Participants were broken into foursomes and then given a fifth member, a member of the Coyotes organization.  Phoenix Coyotes participants included coaches, players, broadcasters, and executives.

The scramble tournament, which was set up in a best-ball format, kicked off with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. and continued for nearly six hours.

"This is a great tournament," said Coyotes Senior Vice President of Corporate Sales Dave Groff.  "It gives us as an organization a chance to get together with some of our partners outside of the office and build strong, productive relationships."

Following the round of golf, all participants headed to the Wigwam resort where they took part in a silent auction featuring rare and exciting sports collectables, a Coyotes Charities raffle and first class dinner.

In addition, Coyotes Television Play-by-Play announcer Curt Keilback and Coyotes Television Color Analyst Darren Pang entertained the crowd with a humorous recap of the day's events.
