COYOTES CAPTAIN SHANE DOAN TO JOIN ADHS TO DELIVER POWERFUL MESSAGE ON THE DANGERS OF SMOKELESS TOBACCO

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes Captain Shane Doan will join The Arizona Department of Health Services Bureau of Tobacco Education and Prevention (ADHS BTEP) to host an interactive assembly on the dangers of smokeless tobacco use at Holiday Park Elementary School in Phoenix on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 1:00 p.m.
 
The Phoenix Coyotes and BTEP are taking part in a nationwide, week-long effort from Feb. 17 to Feb. 23 to build awareness about the dangers of smokeless tobacco and teach youth about the dangers of smokeless tobacco use.  This is a fun and energetic way to delver a powerful tobacco prevention message to children.
 
The assembly is part of the Coyote’s year-round Cool Schools Program, which is designed to increase the well-being of youths throughout the state of Arizona with the help of exciting and informative seminars by the Phoenix Coyotes.
 
The Coyotes Cool Schools Program is sponsored by the Arizona Department of Health Services, The CORE Institute and Heritage Graphics.
