COYOTES ANNOUNCE CHANGES TO RADIO BROADCAST SCHEDULE

Wednesday, March 25, 2009 GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Michael Bucek today announced changes to the club’s radio broadcast schedule for three upcoming Coyotes games due to schedule conflicts on the team’s flagship station, XTRA Sports 910 (KGME-AM).
Tomorrow’s Coyotes home game versus the Edmonton Oilers will now be broadcast on 1510AM KFNN Financial Newsradio with coverage beginning at 6:30 p.m.. On Saturday, NewsTalk 550 KFYI will broadcast the Coyotes road game versus the San Jose Sharks with coverage starting at 7 p.m. Both games will also be televised on Fox Sports Arizona in High Definition.
In addition, NewsTalk 550 KFYI will also broadcast the Coyotes’ road game against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday, April 4 with coverage beginning at 7 p.m. That game will be televised on AZTV.
The radio voice of the Phoenix Coyotes, Bob Heethuis, along with color analyst Tyson Nash, will call all of the action. In addition to coverage of the games, 1510AM KFNN and KFYI 550AM will also air Coyotes pre and post-game programming during their respective broadcasts. Luke Lapinski and Todd Walsh will host Coyotes Tonight before each game. After the games, Lapinski hosts Coyotes Wrap-up for an in-depth look at the game.
