Black History Month Month of February
It is a core pillar of our organization to recognize and celebrate the diverse population that makes up Arizona. During February, the Arizona Coyotes joined our community in celebrating Black History Month by highlighting and black-owned businesses, engaging in thoughtful public conversations about diversity and inclusion in hockey and honoring Willie O'Ree - an icon who broke the color barrier within our sport.
The Arizona Coyotes and NHL are proud to celebrate Gender Equality Month during March. Check out our Kachinas docu-series highlighting one of the top girl's youth hockey programs in the nation and learn more how the Coyotes are leading the way promoting gender equality inside the front office.
Driven by fresh food, lively art and vibrant communities, Hispanic culture is woven into the fabric of Arizona. Celebrating our region's rich Hispanic culture is innate to who we are as an organization. This past September we recognized Hispanic Heritage Month by highlighting Hispanic-owned restaurants, spotlighting community programs and a colorful artist showcase.
It's time we break the stigma and encourage conversations around mental health. With Hockey Talks, we want to create an environment where people feel comfortable talking about mental health, so below are resources we found helpful to keep the conversation going.
