Washington Capitals Players Host Learn to Skate Program

Mathieu Biron, Ben Clymer and Ivan Majesky Visit SkateQuest Prince William



Washington, D.C. – February 9, 2006 – Washington Capitals defensemen Mathieu Biron and Ivan Majesky and left wing Ben Clymer hosted a Learn to Skate program Wednesday, Feb. 8, at SkateQuest Prince William in Woodbridge, Va.

altClymer and Majesky skated with the class, encouraging the kids and assisting with the skating drills. After the class ended, Biron joined Clymer and Majesky to sign autographs and take pictures with the participants.

“I had a lot of fun today, it brought back lots of memories of when I first started skating,” Clymer said. “I enjoyed helping out and getting back to basics with these kids.”

alt Since January 2003, SkateQuest Prince William has been an official rink partner of the Washington Capitals. The Capitals work with SkateQuest Prince William to promote and deliver key programs within its facility, provide player and coach support for its internal programs and initiatives and spotlight the rink in Capitals’ publications. In turn, SkateQuest Prince William promotes the Capitals through ice-level dasher boards and banner signage and sells Capitals tickets and merchandise.
