Packages on Sale Friday, Nov. 4
WASHINGTON, D.C. – November 2, 2005 – The Washington Capitals have partnered with WTOP news radio to expand the popular Eagle’s Nest seats at MCI Center. Through this partnership, the Eagle’s Nest has been expanded to over 2,000 seats per game available for as low as $5 per game (when purchased in groups of four) or $10 individually.
“WTOP is proud to team up with the Capitals to offer an affordable ticket option for fans,” said WTOP director of marketing Mary Kay LeMay. “We look forward to a continued strong relationship with the Capitals.”
Tickets in the WTOP Eagle’s Nest will be available starting on Friday, Nov. 4 through WashingtonCaps.com, through Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster phone charge or at the MCI Center Box Office.
“The WTOP Eagle’s Nest is an ownership-driven initiative designed to make Capitals hockey more fan-friendly and affordable,” said Capitals chief marketing officer Kevin Morgan. “There has been a perception that tickets were unaffordable. We hope that this move in expanding the Eagle’s Nest will afford more people the opportunity to experience the excitement of NHL hockey.”
