Caps Red Line Airs on NHL Network Feb. 15 at 2 p.m.

ARLINGTON, Va. – NHL Network will air two episodes of four-time Emmy award winning series Caps Red Line on Sunday, Feb. 15, at 2 p.m.

The hour begins with a special Winter Classic episode featuring several segments on the Capitals historic 3-2 victory over the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic held Jan. 1, at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. Segments include reflections on the game by Troy Brouwer, a glimpse inside the Caps family skate, a step-by-step look at the transformation of Nationals Park and sights and sounds of the game.

At 2:30 p.m. NHL Network will air Caps Red Line’s Alex Ovechkin All-Star Weekend episode. The show includes several segments surrounding the 2015 NHL All-Star weekend, including a one-on-one with Ovechkin on his All-Star experience and his support for the American Special Hockey Association. The show also explores the sights and sounds of the weekend, in addition to highlighting Ovechkin’s campaign to win a car during the Fantasy Draft.

CRL won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Program Achievement for Sports – Programming Series, by the National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS-NCCB) in 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2014 it received an Emmy in the Sports Program Feature/Segment category.
